Duffy at Watford gap

Isn't there some hypocrisy in your post?

You don't want players to travel together in cars in case of an accident to more than one player. Instead, you would rather they were all together on the same coach...?

I get the "eggs all in one basket thought", and I had that in mind.

Big difference to the journey home in a professionally driven executive coach relaxing in the back before and after a hard match. Compare that to getting behind the wheel of your own motor and driving the 170 miles back to Liverpool. Not to mention the journey to the ground in the first place.

I assume he must have had a driver for the return trip. Driving 340 miles in a day with a professional football match in the middle doesn't seem very professional if you ask me. Set aside whatever arrangements were made.

The point I was making is the value of assets and the duty to safeguard these.

The coach is safer. You must agree.

I honestly don't know statistically if the coach is safer than the car (though I suspect your intuition is right).

But if you are 'valuing the assets', you could argue that keeping them separate is a safer bet than all together, especially in light of what happened with Dortmund the other week.

I was wondering this after the away game at Oldham. I drove past Done in his car with someone else (couldn't make out who) on my way out of the car park there and was wondering why they weren't on the team bus. Thanks for clearing that up!

Clearly we now know it was Ched Evans!

It was the way back but I'm questioning myself which services it was now !

Apologies for the delayed response, it was Watford Gap on the way back, Done and Duffy with another two sat in the car

I'm assuming an earlier poster must've been right in saying they park up at the services and collect their car as they were certainly there but I didn't see the team bus which thinking about it would be easily done as coaches would go around the back of the services to get back on the motorway.
I saw them get back in the car, it was a matt black Mercedes if that's any help
