Duffy at Watford gap

They don't want to keep moving house I suppose. The older ones probably have families they don't want to unsettle. It's a pain in the arse but I used to work with people who commuted from all over the place, doing some pretty long journeys, and they had to do a full day's work. I can see why players prefer it to moving around every other season.
Yeah I can see it in terms of family to be honest. I guess if they have kids they're best being settled at school.

Having said that, the players earn enough to buy a second property over here for during the week for a few nights.

Aye, it's a right fucker struggling over the Snake in your Overfinch Range Rover or Aston Martin only to have to return a couple of hours later. And they say footballers are overpaid.
I wasn't aware that either of those vehicles were able to fly over the queues of traffic that you get around Glossop and Hollingsworth.

So you not only tell lies but you sell class A drugs. Shame on you. Im informing the authorities over this shamefull matter.

Duffy got on the coach after the game so did Samir.

Duffy was certainly in a car at Watford gap. Only a few blades around a couple got pictures with them both. I got a little excited as I thought the coach had pulled up but they got into a dark grey VW

Duffy and J'OC got dropped off at Leicester Forest services by the coach after the Tuesday night Oxford game too. I think they leave a car there and get picked up/dropped off by the coach to head over to the North West as a few have said.

Is leaving a car at a service station legal for that amount of time ?!

Are you calling the OP a liar? I'm not.
I would not see them getting off at WG as we did not stop there.
I did see them getting on the coach after the game at MK. I could tease you with pics but cannot be bothered.

Marty_Mcfly back me up that we saw Duffy and Done at the services..... although I'm now questioning if it was Watford gap we stopped at ?!!

I am not too keen on this and surprised the club allow players to drive home after matches.

Can you imagine the loss if an accident happened and a car with Fleck, Sharp, Coutts and Freeman was involved. An event like that would be a disaster to the team.

The players are assets of the club and if I was in charge I would not allow players to travel together to or from matches. Those who live outside Sheffield should stay at the Copthorne and travel on the team bus. At the least I would lay on a chauffeur in special circumstances.

HH

Isn't there some hypocrisy in your post?

You don't want players to travel together in cars in case of an accident to more than one player. Instead, you would rather they were all together on the same coach...?

Parking Prices
First two hours free for all vehicles, after which cars must pay £20 and HGVs, caravans and coaches £23, or £25 to include a £10 food voucher.

He may very well have been but how did he start his journey home;).

That's true. As nice as these vehicles are, they are not very good in the air. However, there's not much of a queue going east in the morning. Probably less going west just after lunchtime.

What I really want to know though is if when they head to the North West do they take the M6 or the M6 toll? If it's the latter then I'm afraid we are paying them too much. On a serious note

Sharp
Moore
Long
Freeman
Fleck
Duffy

We're all st the PFA awards not much point going north to come back down 12 hours later..

Had to pick up his DJ?

Maybe get to see the kids?

After the Oldham away game I saw James Hanson outside the ground on his own waiting to get picked up with a Maccy D's in hand. Assume he was going back via M62 to the Bradford/WY area.

Worst jokes of all time:

No, not end of. I have to add 'were u erd this pal?' to the list.

I'm assuming an earlier poster must've been right in saying they park up at the services and collect their car as they were certainly there but I didn't see the team bus which thinking about it would be easily done as coaches would go around the back of the services to get back on the motorway.
