I love that statement from Doyle. And for me he has been a pleasant surprise this season.

Like someone else has said, it'd be nice if one or two of the other players could come out and say the same thing.

Without opening a huge can of worms and putting my tin hat on, did Wilson really get the tactics wrong? All week long everyone was saying we need to score at least 2 or 3 to win because Rhodes will definitely score. We nullified Huddersfield throughout and despite finishing higher in the league we were going in with a patched up team so yes, I believe we did have to set up to nullify their threats rather than let them worry about us. Had Lowton scored his penalty we would have been 2-0 up with two penalties to go. Taylor's penalty was an inch too far over; had it gone in we'd be saying it was perfect and the tactics were spot on.

Bushey Galore (said in Sean Connery accent) is spot on here.
Would have been a tactical genius if it had come off allowing for the injuries, sussies and imprisonments.

we had no other option really.. we had to park the bus and go for the red star belgrade win on pens. we did the first bit but were so knackered that we lost on pens..
Doyle has been tremendous recently .. player of the playoffs easily
