In the Interview - "We certainly let everyone down last night and I'm part of that".
All this rubbish about Chris is responsible for the players performance is true but that second half was lack of effort. Nothing wrong with calling that out and all the best managers do! Yes he named a few players (could have named a few more). Nothing wrong with that, they either respond or are out. They are all highly paid in a privileged job and must give 100%. That's the minimum we expect and if they do they will out compete most sides in this division.
The team of 2016/2017 was built on that principle of hard work and not necessarily the best players in the division.
This result shows what we need in January. I fully trust Chris and Alan to identify the right targets, we can forget promotion this season and treat it as a rebuild. It was always a big ask to go from bottom to playoffs. We have the core of a side but need more grit and Ben Mee back
