Cheer up fellas, all may not be lost.

Just think of the fun if we turn it around next week!

If not, with some luck and endeavour we may just get a day out in the big smoke.

How about this tune to cheer us all up and provide some hope....we're almost there;

HH

Sorry to piss on your bonfire, but it's not gonna happen mate, the chance of Wendy losing at home to an already relegated side is very, very slim. :(

If we win, we don't need them to lose, just to draw. Unfortunately I can't see them not winning. They have a confidence in big games that we lack. I'd love to think if it does come down to it we could break our play-off hoodoo. Thankfully Wilson seems to identify problems and learn from mistakes quickly. I can't see him starting with Porter and that spineless shit wanker up front again. I'd go with Beatts and Cresswell next week but take them off once they tire. It gives them a bit of a chance to develop an understanding but keeps them fit should we need to go down the play off route. I think they looked like they could work yesterday.

Hope you're right - why on earth is he playing Porter; even my kids said he'd fit in perfectly with our 'home' team of Bradford City.

But Beatts did look a bit fired up yesterday and the old workhorse Cressie, well, both of 'em together would surely prove to be much better than Porter and that "S.S.W. up front again"...every time!??

FWIW, can't see Wendy drawing anyway, but stranger things have happened in footie - but ever the cynic, I reckon it's just gonna be one of them seasons

No matter - UTB!

Bookies say 25% pigs wont beat Wycombe , may not be over yet ,

Up until yesterday at least (I haven't looked today) Ched was still second favourite to be top scorer in the division. I wouldn't use bookies odds as any indicator of chance. The pigs will win. 100%. Prove me wrong you scummy twats.

If we win at Exeter, Wednesday don't have to lose. A draw would be good enough.

You are very optimistic today Oldblade, you had better send me whatever you have been drinking.
Having seen the last 2 games by feelings are totally the opposite.

We have to beat Exeter first, and on the evidence of the last two games, I for one ain't optimistic......

dont have to lose just draw

strange things happen in football, , if they go in over confident , or Wycombe get 2 deflected goals like stevenage did, wycombe did slap 3 in past county so they can score , just need wednesday to go what barca did v chelsea

strange as it seems we could draw in a dire dull 0-0 and still go up , footballs funny that way

Don't worry KB, I haven't completely lost my marbles! I know it's unlikely, but every now and then the unlikely happens. I just don't think we should totally abandon hope until it really is all over. It might only need one goal from us and one slip from them.

if we did manage to go up on goal difference I would piss mysen laughing

That's not optimism, it's realism. If they draw and we lose, we go up. Hell, if we draw and they lose we go up.

Neither are likely, but you never know. The last theming we need is to draw at exeteri and come off the pitch to find out Wednesday also drew. Let make sure that next week is not the cause for any further regrets.

Also, the Hunter has now become the Hunted, psycologically it's a whole different ball game for Wednesday, it's theirs to how away...

I keep thinking about their game at home to Walsall - gives me hope when i think about the result but pisses me off when I remember that they equalised in the 96th minute (again!!). By all accounts Wednesday haven't been playing well in recent games and their luck has to run out eventually - but I still think that we're bound for the play offs.
