Well we are. 3 points of the Play Offs and our form since MGW et all joined, makes us top 6. So add a fit Mousse to that for the rest of the season and the case we can make the POffs with this squad....is far stronger than making the idea, that Mousse might actually be fit for the seaso....

Factor in all the players out injured and we have a squad good enough to be there or there abouts.

Sadly one of the most important players injured is JOC but its not helping have Berge out as well.

Our form since the first international break is now P9 W5 D1 L3, which is play off form. We need to stay in touch with the top 6 until January and then let Slav freshen things up a bit more and push for 6th.

A fit and firing Mousset gets us closer to where we need to be, definitely. But I won't be letting him break my heart again. Anything we get from him is a bonus.

I'm still in the camp of believing the defence won't be bad if they get someone in front of them to actually help out. The absolute most important change for us in January has to be a tough midfielder to replace Fleck.

The defence would be fine with a dominant, leader centre half in it. There's no one at centre half attacking the ball. Egan or Davies would be better than fine alongside a Chris Morgan / Harry Maguire / Jack O'Connell.

Yeah pretty much so. Proper leaders, straight down the spine, they'll not go too far wrong.

I don’t see why not to be honest. This side probably has more individual quality than any of the sides we’ve been to the Championship play off final with before.

As fans I think we just have to accept where we are and get behind the team. We thought we’d bounce straight back but it’s not turned out like that and It’s a work in progress that will take another 2 transfer windows to iron out (for many reasons). As long as we are within touching distance of the play offs come January that’s all we can ask for at the moment.

I'm not saying we will do it. Like I said, we have lots of problems. I just think this is a really weak division at the moment and this squad should be good enough to be in the mix for sixth place, even with all of its shortcomings.

I know that Moose isn’t perfect, far from it.

But with what we have payed for him against McBurnie and Brewster it’s a fantastic bit of business comparatively speaking.

I feel like with Moose on the pitch we have a goal in us, I can’t say the same with any other option we have, aside from Billy (Who shouldn’t be relied upon as our main goal threat)!!!

There are obviously issues but never brought into us not being play off quality.

If we can keep Mousset fit and firing then he might just keep us out of a relegation scrap. To have a hope of the play off's we need a big bruiser of a CB and a midfielder who can tackle and put himself about or in other words a new spine.

Well I can’t disagree with the facts and that is that we are at this point capable of a playoff position.

Im thinking more along the lines of consistent performances over ninety minutes so far.

If we did make the playoffs with how we are playing and went one further and reached the Prem, we would be seriously in the shit with our current inconsistencies.
