I love the idea that Royal Antwerp would be stupid enough to fall for thay

no we will not sell him to you! You are our closest most fierce rival, oh who is this interested new party called Sheffield United who have a number of players on loan at said rival and who are both quite publicly part of the same umbrella group, yes you may have him”
Their fanbase is not very smart

That will do for us, she wears purple, send her over.

He is a complete nutcase but a very gifted footballer. We have been linked with him all summer, but our city rivals are reluctant to sell him to us. Maybe therefore a construction with United would ease to sell the transfer to their fanbase or maybe it’s just a journalist trying to stir things up. The source where this comes from is not very reliable.

Come on Purple, elaborate :D

because he made himself impossible at Antwerp, turned up late for pre-season, decorated their dressing room with grafiti, etc. As said a complete nutcase

Sheffield United here, does he have a criminal record? Preferably something really bad like beating women? If so, we're in.

Let's not sign him eh?!

Well the complete Antwerp squad went on strike last season because they no longer wanted him in the dressing room. So their manager who needed him on the pitch because he was their game changer scoring crucial goals, made him dress up and shower in a separate dressing room 😂 he knocked down one of his team mates on training, constantly turns up late, wore a rival shirt for their training, tags the training ground and dressing rooms with grafiti. In his last games when he scored none of his team mates wanted to celebrate. When he was banned he came to watch our games and bragged about it on social media. You can write a book about him. But give him a ball and tough opposition and he thrives.

Thing is, if we’re buying him and loaning him to beerschot, it means it’s coming out of our money. Something we don’t currently have a lot off
Yep, if this happens and we don't sign any players for our own team I think that would be a PR disaster from the Prince.

Reminds me of Pierre van hooijdonk when he scored and no one would celebrate with him lol

Wtf we’re using SUFC to be a feeder club for Beerschot

He sounds amazing 😂. Actively vandalising the club's training ground and dressing room?! Mental. Have an image of the rest of the players doing a bleep test and he's in the background doing a banksy on a wall.

That will go down well signing players to loan then out when we need players in now

Fuck me. Transfermarket says about same. Looks tiny in pictures though. Might actually win a header in both boxes now
Think transfer market said he's 1.92 which is 6.3ft tall so that's still very tall for a winger! I really hope this happens just as it's something different to the norm!

Not sure how Slav would take people messing about.

He was a tough tackling defensive midfielder in his day.

As I've said many times before, he is a dead ringer for a Bond Villain. He's probably having a piranha tank installed as we speak, in the event Bettis fails to get his 4 new players..

I am not commenting on the player as I don't know anything about the guy and never seen him play and can't judge his personality either.
However, if this story becomes fact, then I can see opinions regarding the United World concept being stretched to its limit especially as we appear to be in dire straights financially.
I'm all for the idea if we were still in the Prem where income is plenty, but not now we are in the Champ where we have to make our own club a priority and the idea of financing other partners within the group is beginning to see a little bit of resentment. With the Coulibaly investment and now the possibility of this guy, some fans will see where the Prince's priorities are beginning to lie.

Coulibaly was purchased by Utd for £1m he has since apparently been the subject of an £8m offer and is being scouted by a number of foreign clubs. Unfortunately recovering from an injury incurred towards the end of last season and is yet to
Hit the ground running this.
If sold for a +£5m profit as seems v likely we will all say the system is working. Cannot see any downside to this, sometimes you invest short term sometimes long term, no problem as long as we make a profit.
if you want to point the finger anywhere I suggest you look at mr wilders investment in the likes of our forwards.
Any profit is returned to Sufc

I was just thinking what English football needed is a welcome return to the 1985-95 Wimbledon side. Let's sign this fucker on general principal.

Jesus man don’t talk sense, the whole setup is to benefit Beerschot and the Prince.

Personally I’ve got no issue with the whole arrangement because I know there will become a time where we need a player who won’t get a WP initially but will after time with them. It’s smart business and can work for all parties.

Same with Chateauroux, a club famed for the youth players it develops. It’ll eventually benefit us.

Not normally rude. But the prince can fuck right off he’s using us as a feeder club when we’re desperate for signings. Fuck right off.

We have got to sign this man. It sounds like the only chance we have of any entertainment this season !

Relax, the chance of any truth in this is very very limited. Story made up I think to cause some stir knowing both United and Beerschot are in a bad situation and fans are toxic.

Makes sense....however some of us can remember the club going down the foreign ownership route previously and it didn't work out well.

This.could.be completely different but until there is evidence its either providing players for our first team or returning a profit many will be sceptical.

Sounds like the plan is to utilise English football income to get one of his clubs in the champions league!

Well seeing as both are looking at the relegation places at present he needs a big turn around in fortunes!
