No disrespect PurpleRain if we do go after him I hope we can keep him for ourselves rather than loaning to you as is being possibly suggested.. has made an international appearance for Cameroon which may help with paperwork also

Doesn’t make sense does it. Sheffield United- need a winger who will add us goals and assist. Hmmnn lets buy him and send him to beerschot. Im all for sending players to beerschot but not when WE need them

You mean, like the attacking midfielder we desperately need, but is in loan at beerschot??

That made sense at the time though. We were in the prem and on paper we didn’t need him 1. Because he was still so young and inexperienced and 2. We had that midfield 3 of fleck, norwood and lunny who did so well for half a season and then we got berge. Plus he wouldn’t have got a work permit then. I agree we need him now though

I think he's talking about Lakmel-Ze, i think based on number of games played last season and being internationally capped he probably would.
 

I'm sure PurpleRain will know all about him considering he's currently playing for their neighbours but I have a feeling he's going to say he's very good.

Big strong pacey (which Cameroon players tend to be) but also can hit a sweet shot. YouTube have few clips of him winning man of the match and goals of the month.

Think Oli burke but can actually play football

Ifs he’s 6ft 5, someone might get on the end of baldocks stupidly high crosses
 
He is a complete nutcase but a very gifted footballer. We have been linked with him all summer, but our city rivals are reluctant to sell him to us. Maybe therefore a construction with United would ease to sell the transfer to their fanbase or maybe it’s just a journalist trying to stir things up. The source where this comes from is not very reliable.
 
What’s the point in signing a 24 year old with over 100 senior appearances in France and Belgium then loaning him to Beerschot?

If he’s not ready to play in the Championship now, I don’t see how a further year in Belgium is going to make a difference? Or do we think he’ll make an impact in League One for us next season?

I love the idea that Royal Antwerp would be stupid enough to fall for thay

no we will not sell him to you! You are our closest most fierce rival, oh who is this interested new party called Sheffield United who have a number of players on loan at said rival and who are both quite publicly part of the same umbrella group, yes you may have him”
 
If there is truth in it which I doubt, I guess for United it’s a pure financial investment. This is a player with transfer value of easily 4-6 million which you can buy now for 1 million because he made himself impossible at Antwerp, turned up late for pre-season, decorated their dressing room with grafiti, etc. As said a complete nutcase. Buy for 1 mio and after 1 good season sell for 6 mio. That seems a no brainer for a guy with his football talent. Is being linked also with FC Porto where I think he is more likely to end up.
