out of Wendy fans for saying how great they were at ours but collecting NO POINTS, sorry if this is going to upset a lot of people but we have been doing the same since the Cardiff match.

Its all very well people saying how great we play and how unlucky we are, get real, we were poor tonight and got NO POINTS.

Yes we huffed and puffed but did we really threaten? did we really ever look like winning? Once again we had no plan B, Newcastle coped quite easily with Plan A (anyone who thinks they didn't should look at the goals we scored) and once again we ended up with NO POINTS.

I have a feeling this will spark a raft of "it was a foul" "he should have been sent off" well, no, it wasn't because the ref didn't give it or send him off, and "it was a lucky deflection" well they count as 1 same as those that go straight in don't they.

I say again NO POINTS and thats what counts no amount of griping about luck or praising effort will change the fact we got NO POINTS again.

I hate to see United lose, I can take a bit of bad luck etc every now and then but we need to wake up and smell the coffee, we are going to end up in a relegation battle if we don't change something and quickly. At the end of the season its points that count, you dont get an allowance for bad luck or extra for trying hard.

And before anyone yells "foul" at me I went all the way to the old 4th division with this team, I love them to bits and want to see us win and not be the gallant losers with NO POINTS all the damn time.

Rant over.

The thing for me is "No Plan B", but at least there was something which looked better tonight, even if Newcastle are shit. I feared that my rectal orifice was about to be ruptured this evening by Newcastle, but it wasn't to be.

We are utterly toothless up front (remember the thoughts of goalkeepers managing sides?), but again tonight wasn't a disaster. It was a major missed opportunity, but not a disaster.

I don't think many have been saying that we were great against Cardiff or Newcastle. There's just been an acknowledgement that the performances have been improved and we are at least trying to pass the ball a bit more through midfield.

That is totally different to the way Wednesday's second half performance was claimed by some to have been a fine example of free flowing, flair football.

To be honest, I think people are just relieved that the overall play has been better in the last 2 games compared to what we've been used to. There's still massive problems but at least a bit of light at the end of the tunnel.

werent people coming on here the other week saying they didnt mind if we werent winning every game as long as the football improved ?

so the football improves and everyone is moaning

Whilst most would agree that performances are improving, we have just lost two on the spin at home. You can't expect people to be happy with that regardless of the performance.

i dont expect people to be happy when we lose ,but a bit of prespective wouldnt go amiss

On here? You must be kidding!

No I agree in principle but you've got to allow some disappointment for us losing however we played.

im as dissapointed as any blade ,but even the pig i watched the match with last night said we didnt deserve to lose

like i say bit of perspective needed

Judge, were not all moaning (well bar the decision to put a left back on the right wing for 20 mins)...

I think if we continue to play football, like we did last night and against Cardiff, then we'll begin to pick up points again. Just wish the manager would possess bigger bollocks and go for it from the off instead of starting with full backs in midfield!

Apparently if you take some positives from the last two games you are a seal or a happy clapper. Miserableness is the only way forward.

the positive from the last two games is cheap as chips is nearer the door !
5-2 favourite with the bookies !

I wish he would possess even bigger bollocks and resign!

I think there is markedly less moaning about the way we are playing than there was a couple of weeks ago. Most have recognised that the football has improved.

But, it doesn't stop us being a tad worried about how the season's going, which is understandable as we are now nearer to the bottom three than we are to the top six in terms of points and places.
