These wins were led by the club's talisman winger Don Rogers.

My younger daughter wanted to meet, John Green, an author from USA, at a book signing session at the Steam Museum in Swindon early this month so I took her and her friend there. I had a walk around Swindon town centre and spotted "Don Rogers Sports" so I went to the window to see if the Town Legend is in the shop. There he was at the counter! His hair and tache is now grey/white. He had a lovely ball control and was excellent in sending the defenders the wrong way with a slight shoulder movement

Fantastic news.

Their promotion campaign will go tits up now just like Wednesday's and Huddersfield's did when they sacked their managers last season.

They're going to be closer to Sheffield United 2009: selling Matt Richie is the League 1 equivalent of us selling James Beattie at the end of the transfer window without having a suitable replacement lined up. Play-offs at best for them now.

Yes but we played better without Beattie that season.

The only problem is they sold him to Saturday's opponents Bournemouth :(

Another blow for Tranmere who are in slump town. Looking forward to destroying Swindon at the lane of power.
