I think he’s just on the wind up, the only words that look redacted are the 2 syllable plus ones he can’t understand!
If he’s on the wind up - don’t think he is, he’s spent some time on this, at least five minutes, all wasted - it’s the Curtis Syndrome, where some Saddo enjoys making themselves look dopey.

Its actually 55% 45% and 20% wtf that means financially I haven’t a clue?

“Relegated clubs will receive 55 per cent of the equal share of broadcast revenue paid to Premier League clubs in the first year after relegation, 45 per cent the following year and 20 per cent in year three.”

It's 55% of the 110 million, so quite alot, then 45% of the 110 million so quite alot again.
Thats why clubs in the Championship say they can't afford to compete with relegated PL clubs who are still receiving 50 mllion on 1 season.

Anyhow I understood that a club had to stay up for at least a season then it's parachute payments for 3 seasons.
Any clubs that are relegated from the PL in their 1st season (like us) only receive parachute payments for 2 seasons.

Next season is going to be very very tough, don’t expect anything going into next season. We are sailing very very close to the wind.
Thanks.
Will I accidentally shart, just before sitting down to the first game and lose £10 in a freak gust of wind on the way out?
I imagine it's a yes.

The relevant years are 2019-2023 inclusive. When the big amounts started. We don’t have the 2024 figures yet for obvious reasons so no point guessing.

2019-2023

Income £410m

Wages £265m
Admin £ £78m

Total. £343m

player
Fees. £124m
Capital £ £23m
Expenditure
Less £30m
Mortgage.
Total. £147m

Total spend £490 less say £45m transfers out?

Shortfall of £35m. Not including interest paid and other sundry items.

As opposed to your missing £240m (£35m plus losses from 2013-2018 btw. Add those years turnover we still don’t get to £540m.

So you’re claiming there’s redacted information at Companies House? Please please provide a link or a screenshot. I can’t wait.
78m admin.. jeez no wonder clubs are skint

I’ve heard we can no long spunk millions on absolute dog shit footballers ! Well that’s me done !

There are redactions. It's on confidential clauses, payment details on loans etc. You know, confidential stuff.

Obviously, the secret slush fund is redacted too
?

Accounts that show contractual details and confidential details? Who gets a set of those not too confidential figures andcc ch where do they appear on that set?

Think transfer out will be more. Rams, Berge, Illi plus odds and sods. Think your shortfall will be closer to a mere £20m. Suspect that will be covered this season meaning we start again next season although the cost base will be substantially higher than in 2019.

Don't understand how you do three seasons in five years in the prem, don't spend much relative to others, and still end up financially fucked.
Agreed and 7 years PL money including parachutes by the end of 2026 and don't forget the 2 point deduction....only at Sheffield United

No. the sales of Berge and Illie were in August 2023. Not in the period l reviewed.

In docs registered at Companies House, not the accounts

That's what he was on about

Well the discussion was about accounting figures. If he means email addresses, witness addresses signatures and suchlike then there are redactions. Nothing to do with accounting information though.

I know. But that's what he means by redacted stuff on Companies House

I just love how bent of shape you get.

In a discussion about accounting information. Where there are none.

I know there’s no subject you won’t apply your expertise to but you seem to struggle with context/relevance.
How's about you go back and read his post?

How's about you go back and read his post?

The one where he’s quoting figures from the accounts and throws in a comment about redactions, where said redactions are nothing to do with his missing multi millions post? That one? The suggestion is there are financial items hidden from view. Which is nonsense, but you saw a chance to say l was wrong and, as you are want to do, dived in without thinking about what’s actually been said rather than your inane take on it.

It’s a recurring theme so l’ll leave you with it.

You know what else is a recurring theme? You thinking I care if you're right or wrong. There are redacted items in the Companies House filings, but not in the accounts. That's all I said, because that's what the poster was referring to. I literally said " nothing is redacted in the accounts"

You think anyone who is involved in any conversation you're in is trying to catch you out and make it a competition. It's just people chatting about football, there's no points to be won.

In grown up talk

“I realise l don’t know what l’m talking about but l can’t bring myself to admit it so l’ll chuck in a juvenile internet cliche instead“
Ha ha. “ in grown up talk”. You’re the biggest baby on here.

Bit rich from someone who never hesitates to pass an opinion on anything and everything.
