Deep financial trouble ahead

It's all well and good saying 'this player will be off the books, that player will be off the books'. But they'll need replacing otherwise we'll go into the new season with a squad of eight players, most of them kids. How do we replace all these players with no money? The transfer budget for this summer will be far less than last summer (and that amounted to nine tenths of f*ck all).
How do you know all this Baltic or are you guessing as usual.Money spent on infrastructure ! this is not done if we are skint. We have a 2 point penalty hanging over us if we default .The Prince will have learnt a lesson after getting his fingers burnt recently.

£55m year 1, £45m year 2 IIRC

Its actually 55% 45% and 20% wtf that means financially I haven’t a clue?

“Relegated clubs will receive 55 per cent of the equal share of broadcast revenue paid to Premier League clubs in the first year after relegation, 45 per cent the following year and 20 per cent in year three.”

Still waiting for the bit about moonlight, music, love, romance, the summat about dancing.

I'm afraid we don't get the 20% in year 3 this time 58. We needed to stay for 2 consecutive seasons in the EPL to get 3 years Parachute payments. Only get 2 if you go up and come down next season.

Isn’t that also before any carry over from over £100,000,000 (minus costs) received this season?
Anything we make in excess of costs this year will show as profit in the accounts for the year, don’t confuse profit with cash though.

What we’ve ‘spent’ from a cash perspective will be a lot different, particularly when you consider we were previously kicking the can down the road and not paying people, presumably we caught up when the PL money was received.

Yep. I meant how much have we handed over. I asked after someone suggested we’d get a lump from Villa when he goes back.
This is what no one knows. To the layman we’ll be selling Archer to Villa for £18m or whatever was agreed.

Can’t wait for the “Prince az fucked off wi £18m ageyan” comments.

I reckon since the Prince came in we have seen £300 million go out of the club via wages and transfer dealings. 2013 to date.

The 3 prem years should get us £120 million a season. That’s £360 million.

Champ years 45million (£180 million over 4 years championship)

£540 million.

Wheres the 240 million gone?

I had a look on Companies house and there are shaded out bits like they do on alien files.

I’m thinking the 240 million (£21 million per season (11 seasons) has gone on pies that we couldn’t sell.

Not read the whole 5 pages so may have missed this. What did we lose in our last Championship accounts? Does our FFP 3 year rolling accounts restart or not?

I've heard there are plans for a casino built to help male us some fund's, think "Midas games" are involved?

Also the fans could help this summer by doing some sort of sweepstake to buy a player?

Or get Roxys to host a "Blades Revival" event see if we can generate some more subscribers?

The thing with FFP is its a static arbitrary figure which doesn't take into account

Inflation
Cost of Living
GDP

and so on.

You can't tell me 13 mill is the same as what it was 5-10 years ago or what it will be in 5-10 years time... especially in the footballing world.

Whilst I understand the model and it's purpose.. it's deeply flawed.

Fag packet maths.
Surely you don’t think it is as straight forward as this?

You’re reading off the Strapon playbook that Mr Plusnet used when steered the Arc on the Don a few years back.

The relevant years are 2019-2023 inclusive. When the big amounts started. We don’t have the 2024 figures yet for obvious reasons so no point guessing.

2019-2023

Income £410m

Wages £265m
Admin £ £78m

Total. £343m

player
Fees. £124m
Capital £ £23m
Expenditure
Less £30m
Mortgage.
Total. £147m

Total spend £490 less say £45m transfers out?

Shortfall of £35m. Not including interest paid and other sundry items.

As opposed to your missing £240m (£35m plus losses from 2013-2018 btw. Add those years turnover we still don’t get to £540m.

So you’re claiming there’s redacted information at Companies House? Please please provide a link or a screenshot. I can’t wait.

Clubs draw up the rules and can adjust them when outdated as they are with ffp in the premier league

There are redactions. It's on confidential clauses, payment details on loans etc. You know, confidential stuff.

Obviously, the secret slush fund is redacted too

I think he’s just on the wind up, the only words that look redacted are the 2 syllable plus ones he can’t understand!

Your figures are nonsense and all over the place.
Plus where’s the payment back to Sky for the Covid season in your calculations?
