More chance of one of us signing. Utd have played it down, as have Bournemouth. Even the click-baiters seem to have given up on it.

I'd rather play Ampadu there or change to 4 at the back than play robinson there. he's not a cb

It would be of great ammusment, to me anyway, if CW signs someone who has never had a mention on here, out of the blue, off piste or from out of fresh air, to quote the old phrase or sayings.

Not sure Utd have the personnel to revert to a formation that doesn't involve 3 CBs - I can't see how they could play 4-4-2, 4-diamond-2, 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 without putting square pegs in round holes, especially with McG apparently out for a while

I like the theory - and want to believe the local media are keeping quiet out of charity to make it more likely to happen - but not a flicker anywhere on Twitter, etc. It would be the mother of all Wilder coups and wouldn't put it past him but can't see it.

Haha. To be honest I was/am over the moon about the Brewster signing.

Then this one just seemed to become possible. Won't be devastated (quiet mourning maybe!) as can't wait for Sunday.

Think this is the latest half credible gossip. Three days ago. Arguably the best Twitter ITK account. Apparently they were the first to say we were getting Bogle/Lowe (according to someone else on s2).

The same account has said a few times this month that we Blades want Brooks. Could well be based on logic like my own ramblings, rather than actually ITK.
