It's just my opinion, like I said I could be wrong.

He's 21 and not really done much in his career so far, granted he's physically a late developer, but usually the top level talent show a lot more by the age of 21.

I also think the choice to play for Wales says a lot about him mentally, if he really rated himself as an elite player he would have waited for England.

Good luck to Brooksy. Given how he was knocked back in his career and had to work to rebuild it it's not surprising he's taken the opportunity and he deserves it.
Given Wilder already had an increased transfer budget and now has all these millions on top, there must be some significant incoming transfers on the way.
Don't really get the undisclosed fee bit when it's presumably very likely the fee will have to be reported in the accounts.

It's so other clubs don't know what we've got to spend apparently.

It'll be interesting to see how Brooks does if he plays because I think Maddison has been great. I honestly didn't even notice him really last season apart from when he came to Bramall Lane, looks better than Graelish though and everyone's up his trumpet, and Graelish isn't playing Man U.

I do think the Prem will suit Brooks...

But theres a reason Maddison is £8m more expensive at present.

Ability wise, he's already very very comfortable at that level.

Given more match experience and physical development he's going to be a brilliant player. Imagine him at the best level we saw him, but with additional pace and power. It's some prospect.

He is a gamble as he does not yet possess the overall quality that Maddison has.
If he does we get a sell on fee, if not we have a good fee for him.
