The Final will take place at Wembley on Sunday 19th May 2013, with a 1.30pm kick-off.

Suppose there's only 21 days between the last league game and the Final so they've been forced to make teams play 2 incredibly important games in 3 days

Which is match A? 3 v 6 or 4 v 5????

On the weekend of the playoff final I'll be in Leyburn. Mrs SV and I are having a weekend away, going for a refreshing walk round Aysgarth falls, and refreshing trips around both the Black Sheep and Theakstons breweries in nearby Masham, and drinking refreshing beers aplenty. I've been looking for an excuse to avoid another trip to watch United capitulate in yet another playoff final, and this was booked ages ago without checking the date, so it's got me out of it nicely.

I might make it back in time to watch it on the telly, I might not, but either way I'll have had a much nicer weekend, with much nicer beer than that expensive London piss, and with the added bonus of it being a Christmas present from the in-laws so it won't be by money I'm renting beer with.

I've got a trip to the dentist on the day before the play-off final t have a decaying, fractured root removed, so I'll already be in excruciating pain.

As I understand it, they will decide which is which once the teams are known.

Well that seems like a sufficiently suspicious way of doing it. Nothing like being open and honest about it.

I certainly wouldn't want to be the 3rd or 4th place team with a long away trip to Yeovil on the Saturday, having to play the Monday as well...

Doesn't the 3rd place team get to pick? I thought that happened last year.
