I remember there were a few on here suggesting he was a “the weak spot” in our league 1 team. Don’t think there would’ve been a better LWB available in League 1 at the time.

A weak spot in that team wasn’t really an insult.

Ive always been an admirer of Lafferty ,I actually rate him slightly better than Stevens ,who I do like ,but OConnell always looks a lot more comfortable when Lafferty plays ,he make mistakes but gives us great balance.

I got that one wrong ,although I do like Lafferty ,Stevens has improved unbelievably and has become arguably the best left back ( traditionally our worst position) in the 50 years I have been going to the Lane.
