We were always going to drop into the bottom three today, (which is one of the reasons I would rather be playing in the League this weekend, but I am not getting on that hobby horse again) However the results didn't go too badly for us, a point against Peterboro and we leap up about 3 places, a win and its about 5 places.
Getting the point or win may be the tricky thing however.
We are too big a club to go down relax, I know we have been relegated in every relegation fight we have gone into since 1976, but that is not going to happen this time, definitely not, certainly not, it won't happen..
...will it?![]()
I have only just realised there is a full programme of games on Tuesday like HG I though this was one of our games in hand, we could be second bottom before kick off.Not quite all the other teams around us will have played the previous evening and then comes the hard part ...us getting a point (less likely if we beat Fulham tomorrow IMO)
Have some of you been on the piss?
Relegation would be good for the club? What absolute bollocks,it would be catastrophic.
I think some said that when we got relegated from the PL and The Championship.
We like to assume its a chance to "start a fresh", "clear the decks" "off load dead wood" etc etc.
When does it ever workout like we think it will?
I think that it's not 1981 and us coming straight back up is far far from certain.
It's true, I know a lot of the posts on this thread have been tongue in cheek, but there does seem to be a general feeling on here and Bladesmad that if we did go down we would just storm straight back as League two champions.
