We have to be honest to ourselves tonight, this was not a good performance and Coventry were only average.

I disagree with all who thought a draw would have been a fair result. Sure we would all have taken it, even at 1-0 up.

We didn't deserve anything out of that game tonight. We had no midfield, no forward line, I have no idea was TC (either of them) were doing but they were running around like chickens with their heads cut off. We created alnost 0 clear cut chances, maybe a few half chances, and we terrible at playing as a team.

I don't know where we go from here... maybe hang onto the hope that 20 points will not get us relegated. But somewhere at Bramall Lane, someone has to stand up and say its not acceptable. We cannot continue to play this way. Our midfield play is attrocious, we cannot get the ball into dangerous positions, we don't create quality chances on a consistent basis. and we are, at present, totally capable of string a few wins together.

As bad as the Preston, Derby, and now Coventry have been for both team and individual errors and lack of organization and tactical planning, it feels to me that the next 2 games - QPR and then the Pigs - are going to be season defining. If we lose the next 2 games, we are doomed to L1, no question.

a very dissapointed toledo, numbstruck about the club I have supported for 68 years....

This club is rotting.

In the boardroom, with a clueless uncommunicative board apart from Steve Bettis doing a fair impression of Lord Haw Haw.

Amongst the players. I’ve seen far worse players give far more. Do you know what I’ve never seen before? Cowardice. It isn’t a lack of talent. It’s a lack of giving a shit, a complete and utter lack of accountability.

I’ve had my say about CW, but even his motivation skills can’t get a tune out of this lot.

Rotting
Wilder's as much to blame BTW. Think about the different iterations of 3 atb we've had under Wilder and how they've all had some sort of attacking flair until now - from Billy, Leon Clarke and Duffy behind them to the era of overlapping CBs, furious George and a rampant Lundstram in midfield

Chris lost 'it' the season we went down and arguably hasn't found 'it' since. A lot of people remember the 92 points last season and the narrowly playoff final

Fewer seem to remember thaf despite playing truly dire football on a weekly basis, we were top of the league and 2 points clear with only 7 games to go before we finally imploded in a diabolical run of 4 losses in the next 5 games including to powerhouses like Oxford United, Plymouth and Millwall

And all this whilst having inarguably the best team in the league and the best player in the league.

The team Wilder has inherited from Selles is probably as stripped of assets as Prince Andrew, but let's not act like Wilder hasn't conspired to achieve less with more ever since that Covid season.

Oh I agree, I just felt I’d done enough Wilder bashing and wanted to vent at other things that I feel are wrong with the club

A marginal improvement but still so far off it. We huffed and puffed but actually created no clear cut chances really.

McGuinnnes needs to come out the team.
Peck much better further forward.
Campbell just can't do anything unless he is fed the ball on a plate.
Ogbene does nothing.

The only 2 quality players we have available are T. Davies and Ohare.
iOS tat the same Tom Davies who gave the ball away for their 3rd.?

Looked like 442 or 4132 when Reidervald was on sitting deep...Him & Peck did ok i thought, also McCallum and O'Hare..front 2 were dissapointing..Seriki did well off the bench...stiil gifting teams points though.

General play has been decent/ an improvement for a while now.
Agree Ogbene has looked quite poor….he works hard (so give him some credit) and he tries but he looks average 1 standard.
Campbell is a weird one…it’s as though he’s slightly over weight, seems a bit sluggish and struggles with fitness.

Agree T Davies always shows little touches of PL quality.
O’Hare isn’t as good but, unlike many of the others, always giving 100% and tries to make things happen.

The issue that’s is totally crazy is our defence.
We have so many options….totally over loaded with decent centre backs but defending is about partnerships.
Remember how Ahmedhodzic instantly improved when Souttar was next to him.
It’s looking like maybe the Mee/ McGuiness pairing isn’t working.
We have a great centre back in Tananga but we’re playing him as right back.
It’s as though the players still aren’t prepared for the season and Wilder doesn’t know his best team.

2nd goal keeper error and flukey in off his back, just watched Sky replays and all three studio crew saying the 3rd was offside.
No luck when your down there.

So in the PL it'd be 2-1, but the average user here would prefer it to be 3-1 shrugemoji

Utter utter bollocks. You clearly didn't watch that match. Disinterested and not willing to fight? You honestly haven't got a clue. If you'd said athletically inferior I'd agree. We tried our very best, but second half couldn't cope with the intensity and ran out of steam. First 45 mins McCallum, Mee, Ridewald, OHare were fantastic...

Stop regurgitating other people's nonsense.
Again - Evening Chris.
I enjoyed your interview telling us we went toe to toe with the best team in the league - really? They’re at the top of the league, but no team has to do much to beat United and we handed that game to them on a plate.
I’ll give you McCallum, he should have had a mention - he did put in a shift, but fantastic? I’d have to question that.
Mee & Riedewald fantastic? - No.
I did watch that match but not with the rose tinted glasses that you did.
This team has little game plan, little talent and little effort I’m sorry to say.
At what point did you think we could beat them?
I thought possibly we might have had a chance when we went in at half time, but after their first goal - there was only going to be one winner.
As I said I’ve supported this club all my life and will continue to, but I won’t sleepwalk into League One.
Take your glasses off they’re distorting your vision.

Not the systems? We’ve tried about 4 toneyt and nowts working. Quality has gone from squad. Journeymen, old loans, overplayed Accadamy players, underplayed Accademy players, project players, treatment room loafers, arrogant manager who’s lost the plot again, couldn’t give a damn owners.

Club officially in free fall

Defensive mistake/goalkeeping error. I hope Cooper will be fit for Saturday; if not, we have a real problem. I dont trust Davies even though he is a Welsh international. In the first Half, we played well. I thought we could get a result. Wilder says He can't wait for the January transfer window to open. Unfortunately, thats a few weeks away.we must start winning because the more we lose, the worse it will get. I'm not confident they can.

You played well in the 1st half and were just about worth the lead. But once we brought on Mason-Clark and put round pegs in round holes we improved for the second half. We started the second half how we normally start games but the injuries and lack of fitness after being out have caught up with us.

You can't blame Wilder for this. He has taken on a defence that can't defend and your GK for the 2nd half looked like he had never played in goal before. The difference in fitness levels between the 2 sides also showed.

Good luck for the rest of the season. You're not as bad as many say but do have problems that can be sorted.
