Also crossed for another goal, and missed a penalty.

The fee should stay low due to him being out of contract. Given we've been on the receiving end of those sort of situations (most notably for Browny), it's about time we got a bargain deal for someone worth more.

The chatter on the Motherwell boards seems to suggest its a fee of around £110k plus two youngsters heading their way on loan.

If true, I suspect Chappell might be one of those, as he was recalled surprisingly early from his loan spell. I very much doubt Macca would allow Murphy to go unless he got a forward as one of the 2. Philliskirk might be an option, but I reckon Ironside or even Geronimo might be more likely part of the deal. Macca is a decent coach - it would be a great opportunity for either one of them to develop with more first team action than they are likely to get in the remainder of the season with us.

MOTHERWELL forward Jamie Murphy is set to sign for Sheffield United after missing training today to hold talks with the npower League One club.
Murphy is due to play for Motherwell against Celtic on Wednesday but that will almost certainly be his last game for the club.
Well manager Stuart McCall said: "I believe he is in discussions with a club.
"He will certainly be playing against Celtic and depending on how discussions go, it looks more than likely that he will move.
"I believe Sheffield United are the club he is possibly speaking to.
"Who knows, the way he has been playing in the last few months there could be other offers."

No I don't, but Wilson said he wouldn't intefere with the first team, and Williams so far has been a part of that team
