Have you ever made a prediction or held a viewpoint that proved to be spectacularly wrong?

In 2011 I was incensed at Danny Wilsons appointment, not because of his Pig connections but because of his crap managerial record.
Who did I want instead? Mark Robins, Mark...fucking...Robins.

So, what are yours?

I was convinced we had just got away with the luckiest piece of luck that i would ever see United get after we were given the dodgy penalty for handball in front of the kop on 2 May 1981 at around 4.45pm. Then i saw Kenworthy on the bench (thanks Martin Peters you WetSham nobhead) and saw Matthews leggin it down Bramall Lane....even then i still thought 'no problem' as Uniteds players started arguing about who had big enough testis to kick a ball from 12 yards out. Only as Givens put the ball shakily on the spot and appeared to be crapping himself did i start to have doubts.....
