The bitch that took me to the cleaners, and here's me thinking "she's the one".
Edit: long time ago mind, been screwed over since.
But don't bear no grudges..

I reckoned if we all pretended to be Spartacus they wouldn't know which one to kill. Instead they crucified the lot of us.

I thought Derek Geary was a waste of £20k
I knew Morgan wouldn't be good enough for the Prem

Watching United in a friendly at Matlock and made the comment "why the fuck have we signed that fat useless bastard, he won't make one appearance in the first team" Neil Shipperley was the player in question. In my defence I get every player wrong. I once said at work that Van Niistelrooy would do nowt in England because he was too slow.

I said that Dean Saunders would be a dreadful player for us and that Carl Asaba would get us promoted.

However, I would mainly say that the performance I'd just seen was the least creative I'd ever witnessed and that team would win absolutely nothing. That was Millwall away this season.

Must be why I stated I was in support of him on the 22nd of August then.
You might not have started calling for his head, but you were very definitely criticising his decisions from an ridiculously early stage - a point I picked you up on at the time.

Do you really need me to start digging them out?

You don't think the run of defeats at the start of the season was worthy of critique then?

Not a prediction of mine, but have to mention the drive to Bramall Lane where my Dad and his mate were talking about how good a player Ian Rush was and what a fantastic loan he'd be at our level.

I thought it was within the expectant results of a new manager with a brand new team. 3 defeats on the bounce - it's hardly earth shattering.

Disappointing, without doubt.
A need to start heaping pressure on the manager by second guessing his every move - definitely not.

Not a single Brayford confession yet?! Or does that one just go without saying now?

After the early season debacle at home to Southend, I thought that was that and we was already doomed to an embarrassing relegation, so I came home and did some business with my turf accountant......

So everybody who rightly criticised a diabolical run is also heaping pressure on the manager?

Did you criticise during that period at all?

Thought Dries Boussatta would be a player because he played in a friendly for Holland once upon a time.

Kinkladze was gonna sign for us 1999. I genuinely believed untill Lovejoy asked him on Soccer AM and he had no idea.

Colin Cryan would be a mainstay in the United team for future years.

John Cullen was a great signing, because he had a stormer for Hartlepool.

We'd miss Taylor more than Fjortoft as he was younger.

Nigel Clough was a decent manager, although I stayed loyal until I realised he was putting personal vendettas in front of the team.

I didn't start writing players off after 3 games, or questioning why we'd bought them, no. I didn't start suggesting that the manager was no different to the last one before the transfer window had even closed, no.

For the sake of forum sanity, please don't try and seriously argue that you've not been ever so slightly reactionary at times.

I was definitely wrong about Paul Coutts. I may have been wrong about Scougall too on recent form but I'm not so convinced on that one.

My Dad was sure Simon Francis was going to be a star after he first few months with us. He was sort of right, about a decade later at a different club.

I don't recollect that, evidence please? Btw, you need not include the bullshit. You criticised, as did I, as did most at the time of what was a terrible run. Trying to somehow make the point that others were wrong to criticise and you weren't makes you look even sillier than you do already.

I thought Wayne Allison was a joke signing and Stuart McCall was way past it, offer us nothing and just looking for 1 last payday
