Compared to Last Season and Paths to the Prem

By (fairly!) popular request, as with last year I have again been through our fixtures for the season and come up with 3 benchmark sets of results which would achieve 3 different objectives:-

a chance of the playoffs (71 points);
almost certain playoff achievement (78 points).
almost certain automatic promotion (90 points).

After each match game I will post 2 graphs.

Graph 1 will show our progress against these 3 sets of benchmarks.

Graph 2 will show our progress against time (not against the same opponents) compared to last year’s results with Slav and Hecky.


Graphs 1 & 2 are shown below, before any results, to illustrate what we will be comparing against.

Not sure I understand the first graph - why aren't they straight lines, and how has the 'certainty' of a particular points total been calculated?
