This is speculation, but from what I'm hearing, I think it seems more likely that Clough is going to be sacked. I'd be surprised if he's still in charge by the end of this month.
This would hardly be startling news. However many seemed to have formed an opinion that Clough will be retained because he hasn't been sacked immediately, allowed to preside over the retained list etc.
Unlike when stating that we were signing Brayford I don't have any concrete news on this. But rightly or wrongly I think things are accelerating behind the scenes and Nigel will go.
Derby wouldn't have reached the play offs last season or been anywhere near em this had Clough still been their manager... They'd be around the pigs in 15th
From someone who is in the club. They have been told that the board are going to meet in a few weeks and that the prince gave Jim and co one job, that was promotion. That hasn't happened and is failure so something has to give. Also McCabe is very very unhappy. It seems the end is near for Mr.Clough.
We have already got one who is dillusional about the skills he has learnt from his dad without another oneI have a horrible feeling that we may be seeing a lot more of Darren Ferguson soon. Not ITK at all but several rumours and when pieced together seem to make sense.
Adkins I would guess is out of reach.
I have heard from someone within the club that the manager will make some signings during the summer and at the same time other players will leave.
This is 100% accurate and not just some attention seeking bollocks to make me look important on an internet forum.
Seems like you are just fishing for likes.![]()
wtf?
If true the board don't want promotion. It would be changing for changings sake . What has he ever done, worse
Than Clough
The lunatics brought you Weir, Wilson. Adams, Blackwell etc.
Would you refer to yourself as ITK?
The gist of your sparse post suggests that what you're describing is a wish, rather than something based on fact. You admit your post is based on speculation, so it would be helpful if you confirmed exactly what is at the root of this? Do you possess something based on firm facts, or is it just another flimsy rumour designed to build a head of worthless steam?
I'm undecided as to whether I want Clough to stay so you assume incorrectly that I want rid. There are solid arguments both ways.
I rarely post unless I feel I've got something to say. My source is very close to someone high at the club. Occasionally I get a snippet of info, like the Brayford deal when a few scoffed.
As for my original post, it is what it is, pure speculation. My source has led me to believe that Clough is on very thin ice and changes are imminent.
For what it's worth, given the vibes I'm getting, I think he'll get sacked and won't see out May. But we'll see. I appreciate those who argue the need for stability.
I posted my thoughts because I thought the assumption was that Nigel will keep his job. Like everything else, make of it what you will.
What does your source think of you blabbing confidential information to the world? What does the high up person think?
Make of it what you will? I have - not a lot, thanks.

Where has this come from? And we likely to hear about this at the end of the week?

You may think that, it's more to do with the absolute shite that people are posting. This "ITK" bollocks that is presented as fact is little to do with actual information and more to do with dropping a bomb and sitting back, admiring the reaction while thinking how awesome they are for it.
Max, in post 762220 you asked "where has this come from" and in post 762260 you answered your own question....what's going off here then? Or are Max and Lightsoot one and the same.....?

Be very aware of what you wish for.
Single Agenda Delegation? Is that the best you can come up with?Predictable bollocks from the Single-Agenda-Delegation [SAD] who are having their usual tantrums because a lot of people dare to challenge their views.
Did someone say lunatics? I'm not allowed to....
Single Agenda Delegation? Is that the best you can come up with?
Given that you spent the last few months posting about crayons, you might want to avoid talking about lunatics.
Forgive me but why do we need a public declaration at all?
We have a manager who is under contract. The default position with a contract is that it continues until breached, mutually varied or terminated by agreement.
Should I make a public declaration that I shall continue to have BT Broadband for the next 8 months, in accordance with my contractual obligations?
I would like to see daily public announcements from the Single-Agenda-Delegation [SAD].
Oh.....Hang on.....
Derby remain a championship club, finished 8th compared to 14th when he was sacked. 1 1/2 years to climb 6 places, all that shows is changing manager has not really workedThey want out of this awful league next season. It's business to them, they want results. If it happens and his replacement gets us up nobody will be saying we shouldn't have sacked Clough. What's happened at Derby since he left has proven he lays good foundations but can't build the house
