I can't find it now, as Treeton said, he's suddenly deleted the tweet, but I did see it. He's the same fan who said we'd had a bid accepted for him, but it is probably all just crap. He's also said that we accepted two bids for Adams, as others have said.

It is things like this that make you think we should be getting £5m for Adams.

As much as I agree that Clarke would be a good addition, I would only be happy picking him up if it's within the current budget. If we're selling Adams to help finance it I will lose my shit, unless quality CB cm and winger are brought in with that money. Problem with Clarke is that you don't know which Clarke you will get!

I agree and I can't see Clarke costing more than £300,000. Personally as much as I think Che is going to be a good player and is a decent prospect, we need someone NOW who will get goals and compliment Billy. I think Adams could get 15 - 20 goals if he stayed but with Clarke I think he's guaranteed 20 goals as he has a 1 in 2 ratio or better for the last 5 seasons or so in League One. We should have signed him last season on a free but for some reason we didn't. Now we're paying a fee but it'll be worth it.
I would prefer Hanson ,you should have seen the problems their giant up front caused us last night ,with Billy and Done feeding off him ,Clark is a different kind of player ,bit too similar to Sharp for me ,but a decent one all the same.

I like Che but I don't think I would be too unhappy with that ,you would have to presume then that DCL would go as too many forwards ,again wouldnt be too unhappy as long as the dosh is invested into a keeper, good centre back and a hard tackling midfieder. Then get 2 or 3 other off the roster and get a left winger ,simple

We have been after Clarke well before any talk of Che leaving, so i certainly dont think he's a replacement.
What we have to get into or head is -Che wont be on big wages and Wilder wouldnt even get half of the money we make from the sale to spend on his replacement. Even if we spent £1m on a new player we would have to break our wage structure to pay him, plus who is out there to sign at that price?
Im slightly worried that he could be a sulker, if he doesnt get his move Che strikes me as a lad who will kick up a fuss if he doesnt get his own way. If (and hopefully) Im wrong I would hold out for 3-4m to spend (half of that) in January.
