He will be leaving unless, the board grows a pairs.

Wilder's grumpy because he wasn't backed in January and senses a missed opportunity.
He'd probably prefer a local owner who's genuinely interested in and cares about the club, like the rest of us, but at the end of the day he's more interested in doing the job to the best of his ability, which means reasonable financial backing.
In this case it doesn't sound like McCabe is at fault but either way, as Liverpool found out with their dual-manager routine, we probably need a single controlling interest who will drive the club forward.

It could be that the impass will be sorted when we know which division we're playing in next season as the club and and it's assets would go up in value if we make the premiership.talking millions here

'When the facts change, I change my mind.' (Keynes. Or maybe Churchill).

Without knowing which division we're in, without knowing who the owners will be, nothing's going to be decided. It's the usual 2 + 2 = 5. If you want certainty about which division you'll be in next season and who the owner will be, support Wednesday. :D

It’s difficult to believe that the supporters of a club that is emerging from the dark ages can talk such bollocks about rumours and hearsay.

Well ...... it's not really surprising is it o_O

We have spent so many decades ( not years) being fed shit and told bollocks by successive Club Boards, being regularly misled, lied to and let down by said Club Boards ........ that it has become second nature to suspect the worst of the higher echelons of SUFC.

This is a crossroads ...... we have a great, young, highly motivated Manager with the best interests of the Club in his DNA.

We have a growing, refreshed, (unbelievably) loyal and committed fan-base ............

We have a reasonable, (almost) top six first team of players and a handful of promising young players ..........

We have a ground that is the envy of many teams outside the Premiership, and some of the ones in it .......

We are in an excellent position to push on next season and make the play-offs and really push the (richer) top sides in the Division ......

What we do need ....... is the cast iron commitment and unswerving support of a committed Board of Directors to provide the financial backing that the Club, the manager and the supporters deserve. This is something that we have never had in our (recent) history ( I can't speak about pre 1960 as I wasn't there) and it is what is preventing this Club from going forwards further from the current position.

If the current Board hold back the progress of this Club by their own failure to "sort themselves out" and "get their ducks in a row" ....... then I don't think the majority of supporters will be in a very forgiving mood.

My message to the Board is quite simply ....... the supporters have done their bit ....... over to you .......

What lies have the club told us? Not over-optimistic statements or spin, but real lies?

What do we expect of the Board of Directors going forward, knowing there is no magic wand or money tree?

Let's get back on topic shall we? I am a sick man.... I am a spiteful man. I am an unattractive man. I believe my liver is diseased.
