It’s semantics, he’s made a comment the other week that the owners haven’t spoke to him and he doesn’t know what’s going on.
Recently when asked about ownership he’s refused to talk about it, which could mean anything really.

But even if he has been kept in the loop, its still not a good situation because of the uncertainty.
Based on what he said last season you can bet that Wilder is already looking at future transfer targets,
Last season shows he likes to get his targets early in the season and the last few weeks and shown that we desperately need a high quality striker. If there’s ownership uncertainty then you would expect that Wilder won’t know his budget.
So if he’s looking for higher quality it could be a waste of time if the funds aren’t made available,

The view that the takeover battle is not good news for Wilders budget plans isn't new though. It's been expressed since the day of the announcement.

I'd guess he knows quite a lot about it. The fact he's saying nothing - he's a club employee - doesn't necessarily mean he's out of the loop. Maybe it's just to stop the media asking him about his future?
Do you have to try to be sensible all the time? There's a chance for a real strop with some amazing made up facts to quote for many of us on here, but you have to try to spoil it ;)

I wouldn't mind at all if Wilder walked away.

People are quick to forget how easy it was to have a piss and get a drink when we had a shit manager and shit players.

Less traffic, easier parking, easier to get away tickets.

Short memories some people of how good we had it.
Yeh lets get back to league 2 and get a shit manager like Nigel Adkins and we will have so much space and time and everyone will be happier

Call me Chrissy. Some years ago — never mind how long precisely — having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me on pitch, I thought I would sail about a little and see the premier part of the world.

Is this the time to dig out all our old shoes??

Exactly. Lazy journalism from Shields he was quoting from Radio Pig interview today. Giddings was pressing Wilder to comment on the matter. CW said he didn't want to talk about it with important games coming up and would do so when the time was right in the future.

4.18 to 5.38 in interview clip below covers it.

Lazy journalism klaxon. Quoting from a press conference you’re at, aka doing the job...

We all know that wilder tells it like it is.
He probably does know the situation but knows that it's not the right time to say anything at the moment with important games coming up and although it wouldn't effect the players attitude. There's a right time but that time isn't now.
Let's just concentrate on Saturday?.

Well That tweet just states what was said ( l understand).

It's on here that people have drawn conclusions from it. Can't see where the useless Star is to blame .......

:)

As soon as I saw the headline I knew there was no way it'd be about anyone other than Bassett...

Yes, a very lazy and simplistic piece of journalism, whatever you might think of the merits.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair. It was the 2017/18 Championship season on S24SU....

A tale of two cities ? More like a tale of two owners.

Also to be fair , as there are 2 joint owners that might be trying to oust the other.

Then there’s only so much the Prince or McCabe could tell Wilder.
Also the Prince and McCabe might genuinely not know much until their dispute is sorted.

It’s possible Wilder has been kept in the loop but still isn’t sure what going to happen regards ownership.

Avery messy situation all round. Chris may or may not be aware of any developments. However Both protagonists should have a plan for our future, or is it a fight on a personal level by thePrince to add United to his investment portfolio

It would be in theClubs best interest for Wilderto be aware of the proposed transfer funds that will be available to him. Will that happen.? I would doubt it, after all it is United we are talking about and if they can fuck it up they probably will

As we know Chris had been a blade for let’s say for arguments sake 45 years . Just imagine the heartache he has been through during decades of “ self imposed “ traumas and dramas at boardroom level and the multitudinous failure appointments both on and off three field as regards Managers and senior execs . He will have hurt like we all have done - glory in the likelihood that he is so case hardened to off the field ineptidude that he may possibly view the current owner dispute as par for the course and because of his devotion to the club he may just “ get on with it “ !
