Hearing alot about us looking at chris o'grady, i don't think he would be a bad signing as long as he continues the form he showed at barnsley.

Gives the pigs a another reason to start piping up though doesn't it, we can't afford their reject.
Would rather we said their valuation of the player was different to our valuation of him.
Or are we saving our money for JB & CC??? well, we can dream!
Sounds like smoke and mirrors to me.
You can't hear them!!!, get down to the doctors quickly, you are seriously ill. What noise do they make, mate?

Can't see this anywhere but I am in semi zombie mode after last night so I will post it at facing the wrath of my fellow comrades.
Chris Hughton told press in an interview this morning that Chris O'Grady will not be allowed to leave the club in this window unless something extremely drastic happens. He wants him to stay at the club until his contract ends at least and says he is an important part of his plans.
Albion boss Chris Hughton has cast doubt over Sheffield United’s hopes of re-signing Chris O’Grady.
Hughton handed O’Grady his first start since October in last night’s 3-2 victory over Ipswich at the Amex.
The centre-forward responded with an industrious display before giving way to new signing Leon Best in the later stages.
The arrival of Best on loan from Blackburn Rovers for the rest of the season was expected to signal O’Grady’s return to Sheffield United, where he was on loan.
Hughton told The Argus: “Yes, there is an interest from Sheffield United, yes they would like to take him. But he is very much our player at the moment, so unless anything dramatically changes he is still our player.
“It was nice for Leon to get that first run-out. That’s why I’ve brought him here.
“He hasn’t had a lot of football. That is what he has come here for, to have an involvement in the squad, but I thought Chris O’Grady was excellent in his work-rate and endeavours for the team.”
Hughton has not ruled out signing another striker during the remainder of the January transfer window.
“We are looking in all positions,” he said. “My responsibility to this club is if we can strengthen in an area then we will do. It’s not just about January, it's about now through to the end of the season.”
It does look unlikely now

My favourite football anecdote involved Shola.
When Mick Macarthy signed Carl Cort for Wolves from Newcastle he asked him what his nickname was
'Carl'
Is that it ?
Yes
Not Carlo ?
No
Corty ?
No
You must have a nickname all players have
No
What did Bobby Robson call you ?
Shola Ameobi
At least they won't have to dip into McCabe's "Big Book of Excuses" for this one.
The club still expecting to get O Grady next week. Everything agreed in principle.
Looks like the Brighton fans have changed there tune, look at this...
