I don't have a problem with Tevez anyway, to be fair to the bloke he just did his job and played football. It's the Premier League and Scudamore etc. that United have a problem with, maybe they should come up with something about that, or is it too advanced for them?

Tsk, not sure if I'll get there on time as I just remembered my car's going in for its annual service tomorrow in Harrogate and I'll have to pick it up before I head down to Sheffield. Or unless I can arrange to pick it up Wednesday morning and just head down as normal in whatever courtesy car they give me.

When you look around their website about predictions most of them seem pretty confident with the website prediction of 1-0 to them - but to be honest with out reserves performing so well in pre-season i think we should beat them - for me it will be a mixture of first team and reserves - and i cant see anything other than a blades win - 3-0 is my prediction

Plus in the last couple of seasons with have progressed ok in the early rounds against lower league oppostion for example Bury and the like

I hope Stead gets a run out, i have faith in this guy and i hope he is given the chance to show what he can do.

A couple of goals would not only enhance his confidence, but give some food for thought to the 2 that started on saturday.

I wonder if it might be an idea to field a full strength team - with the number of new additions to the squad it could serve as a good extra pre-season match with a competitive edge - especially after Saturday's game looking to me like a team that hadn't played together very long.

That said, if anyone breaks a metatarsal...

I'd like to see Fathi, Carney & Stead in the starting line up. Squinny & Luton Shelton should be in the squad as well. I think almost any team we put out should be to strong for Chessy, so Bryan should take a look at one or two on the fringes in a fixture that means something.
