Hopefully the numpties crying about JOC not being in the England squad will shut up now.

Sheffield mistake ,,, every mistake we make its punish at this level 2 weeks in a row now

Mistake at both ends and the architect of our own downfall. No way back at 2 nil.

More concerning than being outplayed by a better more expensive team imho.

Simply can't afford these errors and missed opportunities against anyone.

Expected to lose and be outplayed for spells. No shame in that. But schoolboy errors again is not what you expect to see from us.

Absolutely shocking.

Negative, hesitant bollocks.

Occasionally we wake up and remember we're decent and have chances, but that's about 3 minutes of this 45.

Robinson off, Mousset on for me.

Abraham must think it's his birthday with the comedy defending , so unlike our lot, flatters Chelsea , all they have done is pass it about and wait for us to fuck up to gift em goals.

You have got to remember were we have come from , I know its hard but we aint gona win the top 6 teams at home never mind away for me its all about winning against Southampton now .

Not sure if Robinson is up to full speed yet or if we’re playing within ourselves, we can only have a go now in second half. Not a Robinson knock but he’s not impressed me, doesn’t hold onto the ball well enough and that’s the second “sitter” this season hashed. Doesn’t help when we’re so hesitant in possession, it builds pressure and both mistakes have been punished, wouldn’t mind if they had opened us up with world class football but that has not been the case.

Quite agree above, the break with Robinson and Ginger Beard looked like they didnt know what to do.

On a positive note, it should be 1-0 to us !

I would say a little more than just passed it about. Kovacic got through with some nice inter change passing. And they've played alot of through balls through the middle which we've just about scrambled away. Definitely outplayed by Chelsea.

Don't expect to win, expect a performance. We have been absolutely shithouse.

Had enough games to not be overawed by it but it still looks like some players are terrified.

We have shown in flashes we can give Chelsea a game but then we start being negative again.

He`s a different glass of striker , THB I think McBurnie played well

Him and McGoldrick have been shite so far

Finally someone else has picked up on his deficiencies. Been saying it since Palace game - I can't really see what he brings to the party. He can't out run defenders, he can't trap a ball, he can't stay on his feet, and now can't stick the ball into an empty net from 6 yards. If Mousset comes on (and he will) it would be amazing if Robinson starts next week.

Playing for pride in the second half. Just wanna see a performance. Let's just show what we can do.

Chelsea haven't created anything better than us, we have just fucked up twice. Time for the moose?

Have the others done enough yet to let Sharp have a sniff?

Wilder needs to drop this flat midfield three and go back to our natural game. Our midfield are dire in possession this season and we'll never score more than 2 goals in a month of Sundays, the way we've given it away cheaply these last two games.

I hate to say it, but we miss Duffy. We need Freeman or Morrison to play that free role behind the front two to support the front two.

Granted this is Chelsea away, a game no one expects us to win or get a result from. But passing the ball to each other shouldn't look this difficult, the worst part being that most of these players were our starting eleven last season.

I won't be deflated by the result today, but individual performances matter as much.

Not only that, but we used to defend from the front as a 3 - Sharp Duffy McGoldrick. Now its a two and its much easier for the opposition.

Oh well,we all knew there would be says like today, but one goal and we're back in it,i know it's a long shot.

Make them mistakes and it doesn't matter how we play, we have no chance.

Need to stop looking petrified, they aren't Man City.
