I didn't and you can "guess" at any one with CTFC connections that might be involved. I have not given any clue who I spoke to !!

The fan base is pretty split on most things. I would like him back.I think we all know that K McCabe wanted (or still wants) Ched back. That was apparent with the whole "he is just coming back to train with us, to keep fit" saga, which ended with us backing down to Jean Hatchet and Jim Phipps being filmed, publicly explaining why we had reversed our decision.
I genuinely would not be surprised to see him back at BDTBL, although I know it would split the fan base.
Well as Chris Turner is the Chief Exec (unless this has changed very recently) and has said on RS before he does the contract negotiations people will put two and two together don't you think ?I didn't and you can "guess" at any one with CTFC connections that might be involved. Well that narrows the possibles down by one!And they'd be wrong !!
I've spoken to the Chesterfield negotiator of his contract. No way will he come back to United whilst KM is at our club ! Feels unbelievably let down by him not honouring his promise.
At £2k pw its a no lose situation for CTFC.
Acquittal and they'll make a fortune when they sell him. The one year contract extension covers them.
It's not a wind up. It's a rumour. If we stop posting this sort of thing there would not be a forum...Makes me laugh all this bickering between ourselves, especially over something that is neither important or ever going to happen. It's a wind up and this thread should be ended and consigned to the dustbin. Let's get real about all this, if he was ever going to come here, it would have happened. It's time to wish him luck and move on.

Someone had better tell Mr Turner then ;-). I will mention it to him when I see him tomorrowAnd they'd be wrong !!
Fine.Someone had better tell Mr Turner then ;-). I will mention it to him when I see him tomorrow
Just ask him if it's true? But whatever Ched says, if we offered him £20k a week he'd be signing GCB and kissing the badge.Someone had better tell Mr Turner then ;-). I will mention it to him when I see him tomorrow
You wouldn't be saying that if you'd ever tried to sign a Greasy Chip Buttie!Just ask him if it's true? But whatever Ched says, if we offered him £20k a week he'd be signing GCB and kissing the badge.
Piece of piss with a felt pen.You wouldn't be saying that if you'd ever tried to sign a Greasy Chip Buttie!![]()
Ok, it's a rumour ..... It's still not going to happen.
Unless you are talking about Darren, which would produce an additional 100 pages. If only we had a solicitor on here who could clarify the process and probable outcome it would save a lot of forum pages
Trying to get any kind of lawyer to predict the outcome of any case is usually like trying to catch sand in a fishing net. You might get a heavily caveated percentage at best.Unless you are talking about Darren, which would produce an additional 100 pages.
Go wash your mouth out. Darren, cross his heart and hope to die NEVER uses any form of reference book! All in his head you knowAlways helpful when you have "Sheffield United: the Complete Record" close to hand
Didn't stop Darren getting it hopelessly wrong first time round.Trying to get any kind of lawyer to predict the outcome of any case is usually like trying to catch sand in a fishing net. You might get a heavily caveated percentage at best.
Bloody hell, two wins and we're going to be promoted , bloody clapperYep, us next season![]()
Didn't stop Darren getting it hopelessly wrong first time round.![]()
To be fair to Darren, he always said he was predicting the outcome based on the evidence that had been reported.

Indeed, and I think Darren is a great contributor.
However, when it comes to predictions, he is pretty chuffing hopeless as you well know. Kerching.
