I've got that Friday feeling....
What’s wrong with sexual adventures involving other males?
Couple of organisations going under the radar here.
Firstly Sheffield City Council. It was their responsibility to name something after Jess Ennis after the Olympics in August 2012. Of course the ideal place would have been Don Valley Stadium which of course was earmarked for demolition in January 2013. In steps SUFC to bail the council out. What happens the club is criticised for offering their support while the Council removes itself from all the fuss and concentrates on raping the city of its title 'the greenest city in Europe'.
Secondly, North Wales Police Force. The young lady who spent some time with Ched at the Premier Inn went to the said police force to report a stolen handbag. North Wales police persuaded her that she ought to be crying rape. Now everyone is blamed, everyone is accused of not apologising while this particular police force like our council sits quietly removing itself from all the fallout.
Good luck Ched.

Charlie Webster is the one who has gone hiding most since making herself look very foolish. A victim of sexual abuse herself, trying to raise awareness and in process throws the club she supports under the bus (when we hadn't even signed Ched). Then tops it all off with being pictured with convicted rapist Mike Tyson (who's attitude to women in general is disgusting) and wanted an autograph. Unsurprsingly her career has tanked somewhat since Ched got cleared and her hypocrisy was exposed during that car crash of an interview she did with Channel 4 news.
That was in 2016 and she made a full recovery. Not so much 'gone hiding' or career tanking, as nearly died from malaria. And there was no picture with Tyson![]()

I hope they and the CPS feel good about themselves having pretty much destroyed two peoples lives. The girl now lives in fear of her new identity being exposed again for what was essentially a missing handbag and Ched lost the best part of his career along with carrying the stigma of what happened around with him. I would hope they both got some form of decent payout from this mess.
Never understood the abuse Jess Ennis has got to be honest and it will have been her team who will have pushed through the removal of her name on the stand. As someone rightly pointed out earlier in the thread the council should have done a better job at celebrating her acheivements. Don Valley money well spent....

Come on. In his retrial Ched admitted that he didn’t ever say one word to the woman prior to having sex with her. You don’t think there’s anything remotely shady about that?
Your first comment is wrong. Now who's constructing a view based on a spurious lack of fact? Work harder Smythers, you'll reap the rewards in time.
You deserve nothing less than a reply in red ink (or it's internet equivalent). Left with nothing other than a need to score points, is that what this has come to? I expected better, you disappoint.
Looks like chucking everything into Popcorn futures is gonna pay out big time.
I once had the pleasure of meeting a girl in Spain, I think she was Eastern European but I wouldn't know as we never said a word to eachother.
I hope you don't think I'm shady, as that was the crowning momemt in my sexual history to date!
Sorry mate, I just find it hard to believe, based on your writing style, that you're such an illustrious writer.
Clearly, for yourself and local hack Danny04, you're puzzled. Here's a little insight, the constraints, or demands, of writing for a living are completely different to writing on the forum.
It's a pity disbelief caused you to question the truth of what I wrote.
True. On the forum, you can stick an @ before a person you’re talking about and it’ll alert them. But thanks for the insight into writing for a living, itsinyerblood! Much appreciated.
Danny, you assume I was interested in alerting you.
It surprises me that anyone should question my pasta career, but perhaps that says more about a small minority of posters on the forum.
True, much better to indirectly gossip like schoolkids right?
Where are the links to your esteemed publications?
And that's the best alternative you can come up with? Says volumes about The Star and it's methodology, modern journalism uh?
Couple of thoughts on Ched the footballer, which annoyingly is the part of him that often gets overlooked.
When we had Ched in the championship the first time he was poor, or at best bang average. He was also injured a lot.
We spent a lot of money on him at the time and he looked like a huge waste. Then he was sensational in league 1 and looked
a totally different player. I was gutted we lost him at the time and it totally ruined our Promotion.
Since his return to Pro-football, he started brightly in league 1 with Chesterfield, then again lost form, and got injured.
He looked poor at the end of the season and didn't score a goal for months.
I was annoyed we re-signed him as he looked like a totally different player than we lost the first time and I felt and still feel
that there were better options out there, especially as we already had Billy and Clarke who are similar players and of a similar stage
of their career.
This season so far has proved to me that he wasn't a good signing. He hasn't had a decent season in the championship
for over 10 years which was when he was at Norwich. He seems very injury prone still, and maybe his body is not up to the demands of the job anymore?
I believe in second chances and would be over the moon if he came good, but I just can't believe it will happen. He seems a shadow
of his former self.
As for Ched the human being, whether he did or didn't commit rape is something none of us will never know, regardless of both the original verdit and subsequent acquittal, but legally he is free to continue
working as a pro footballer, for me though I don't think he is good enough for the blades anymore.
Fair post that.
Tend to agree but Wilders record suggest he deserves that we trust his judgement.
I really believe the last chance saloon is the Summer pre season training.
There’s no excuses, surely Ched should be firing on all cylinders by the start of the next season.
If he doesn’t impress in pre-season then I expect Wilder to make a decision to release him.
As a very wise man once told me, the constraints, or demands, of writing for a living are completely different to writing on the forum.

So, you still question me? I wish I could say I was disappointed with you, but that point has been long passed. Normally I don't share my name, and I'm not about to break that habit on this occasion. Permission to continue with your youthful cynicism Daniel.
Hard to prove a negative, isn’t it?![]()
Some might think he was a sexual predator and risked committing rape but he says in the real world there are as many female sexual predators and he also says many girls he’s met fantacize about threesomes when drunk.
