There were some pretty foul Ched Evans chants from about a dozen or so in the north east part of the ground today. Very disappointed, thought we as fans had managed to avoid this becoming an issue. Has put a slight downer on enjoying today, though thankfully it didn't stop me going mental for the equaliser. Hopefully won't hear anything like that again.

Oh but didnt we go mental at the equaliser?

Yep, I was nearby and got very tired off it after about 10 minues. An agressive "Fuck Ched Evans" earned me a few startled looks, but we're there to support the 11 on the field. Tiresome.

That was you! Made me feel better when you yelled that! I was further along on the same row, they were right across the aisle from us. Not nice.

what they were singing made no sense at all either. I could have understood it (a bit) if he was a player from the darkside

Wasn't it;

"Free Ched Evans
Let him know it's Christmas time"

......or something similarly moronic? One brain donor was very pleased with himself for making it up - I think he thought it put him up there with Lennon and McCartney and couldn't let it go.
