Personally i think we'll be doing some business with Cardiff this week but it will not f,be or Brayford...

I know nothing 'inside' i was just looking through championship sides teams and thought of Maynard, Cardiff have an abundance of strikers atm, Tbh i bet it'll be Alex Revell

Some lad on Bladesmad who got the Basham transfer info before everyone else says we shouldn't get too excited about this loan signing.

It wont be somebody who scores many goals on a regular basis, i would hazard a guess it's a workhorse type player, somebody for McNulty to feed off.. think a Revell, Sammon type player

Mason Bennett's just signed a 4 year contract with Derby. I guess that explains the tweet about it all looking good.

Rams boss Steve McClaren's quotes on Mason Bennett hint at another spell out on loan for the young striker #dcfc
Get him under contract then get him out on loan - seems reasonable to me. He only turned 18 a couple of weeks ago.

Makes sense for them, not sure it makes sense for us. Never like loan signings you have zero chance of making permanent.
They obviously have no intention of selling him, so if he does well it helps them more than it helps us. Even more so if he can get recalled.

Im not at all keen on getting a main striker as a loan.

I know last season we had some really successful loans. (Brayford, but also some gash - BP) But id like our most important signing this year to be a permanent.
