Got to give the sheep sh@ggers some credit though. They’re playing well, but helped massively by our inability to keep the ball.

They pass the ball around very well. Doesn’t matter whether they have just come up or not as a few are saying, they play very good football.

I'm not so sure. We haven't had players as bad as Rothwell, Cannon and McGuinness in our first 11 since the League One days.

The jury is still out on Donovan and Baptiste as well, as we haven't seen enough of them in Championship football.

That only leaves 6 proven Championship players in our starting lineup.

This team is worse than you think at the moment, and we need reinforcements. Hopefully some of them are already here if we can get the likes of Campbell, Diaz, Phillips, Blaster, Jairo, Seriki fit and firing.

Even so you can't convince me that promoted Cardiff City have a better squad. They're dominating this game like a Premier League team.

We don't have nearly as good a squad as people think. Just because we're overstocked in the mediocre Central Midfielder department doesn't mean we have a squad capable of much.

I kept hearing this last season as well, when it seemed quite clear to me we didn't have a top end championship squad after that farce of a transfer window. It's even worse now!

It's one thing not having the squad to challenge higher up but other clubs are in similar positions, yet their teams actually look coached.

I can agree they might be close to even or not massively worse. But that’s the issue isn’t it not much in the squads at best if not ours is better. So why such a difference in performances?
