The dogshit defending of last year returns.
I don’t understand why Wilder hasn’t changed it as we’ve been all over the place for 20 minutes.

Always outnumbered in midfield because of the two striker system.

I only put it on at 20 mins as have been out but how on Earth did we score 2?! Cardiff have absolutely battered us for the last 20 mins and I don't think we've completed a pass in their half.

Baptiste really struggling at RB Peck awful and the two centre half’s bloody awful
All on Wilder. That defence was never going to work. Young lad who is a centre back told to play full back and Tanganga on the other side. We could probably see it coming, but to Wilder it’s not his fault it’s the players and his formation is never wrong.

This defence is clearly allover the place, and a 2 man midfield of Rothwell and Peck is just not going to control a game is it? We've got 5 central midfielders at the club and these two are probably the least composed on the ball. This can't carry on.

Not many managers would be making changes after half an hour when 2-1 up, but you'd bloody hope there will be some at half time.

It’s as if we panic when we’re winning. We don’t have a clue how to keep possession or have an attack!

Donovan, Baptiste, Peck and Rothwell having poor games. Tanganga out of position and looks lost. Hopefully Wilder has some ideas at HT.
Doherty for Baptiste and BBD for Donovan is a must.

The same people moaning when it looked like we might sign Souttar will be moaning that we didn’t stump up the £10m to sign him!
Quality always shines through over a period of time ,these early results papering over the cracks. Hope utd win but its early in season our recruitment as been piss poor even without paracute money ,if these clowns wert so shallow utd would have been busier !!!.

The stats say it all, poor half and we’re lucky to be going in at 2-2

45 mins gone, have not a clue the style of our play. Does Wilder have so little confidence in his players to set up a game plan?? Donovan a fkin passenger, no one will pass to him. Rothwell and Peck dont pass to each other either, or tackle or track runners. We're back to slowing down the game letting them set up defensively. After a nice start, its situation normal....

I’d say Tanganga to right back and Baptiste in the middle.

Though he scored and won the penalty himself we are getting overrun; I’d be putting O’Hare in midfield and playing BBD asap on the left instead of Cannon.

There is a case for Riedewald and Phillips to come on on midfield.

The way to win this game is to go at them though and out score them and get Donovan on the ball like they are their wingers. Sit back and that’s how we’ll lose this in my opinion.

That second goal was so bad. In a period where we kept turning over possession Bamford walked into trouble.
