Bit of a mixed bag, still doesn’t change that his scoring record is atrocious and we need goals.

We're not getting him for his ability to be an open play striker though really, we're getting him for set pieces and knock downs.
He can do that undoubtedly.
Get Wilder and Knill working with him, and the dark side to light effect and there's footballing reasons to be cheerful even if he's a momo.

I was more concerned with the Bolton fans
Why wont it ,we are completely the opposite to a Warnock style team and as for your first comment ,that is such a simplified myopic view of football. His presence will give more opportunities to other players ,its not about who scores the goals. If he gets 1 in 4 which is what he has done in this league and the others continue to score at the rate they can then we will do just fine.

It was evident against Barnet that we lacked any Ariel threat so mebbe Calgon is being brought in to address this issue. We will have to Persilvere and Surf the wave to see if he can Dazzle the opposition. At the end of the day it's a Bold move by the club and let's hope he can improve his strike rate to 3 in 1 and leave us all in Comfort
