Good point. I think it will be Collins or Doyle.....I imagine it will probably be the latter. Hendo would be next in line if he wasnt injured.

Why not try it, he's old and slow so not good enough for the wing, we don't play him up top anymore, so why not put him in the middle with someone creative like Willo?

Cant see where you're coming from there norfolk. Even if he did have the capability to play there, now is not the time to be taking pot-shots in the dark.

I know its demoralising at the moment and when it is, sometimes the easiest thing to do is to think about shuffling the pack and trying something completely different but I dont think that's the remedy here. What Micky needs to do now is keep the team roughly the same every game playing the same way. Results come with familiarity and cohesion. The same midfield again but with Willo in for Monty, should be what we're going for now and to stick to it!
Its going to be a painful struggle right to the end as I dont see United going on long winning runs but I feel the best way to go about picking up enough points, is to set our stall out and stick to it for a run of games. Its our only hope now.....chopping and changing wont help IMO.

Probably lay on a couple of defense splitting passes to their forwards or deliver a quality set piece that flies stright into the net whilst everyone in red and white watches it go in without reacting.

why not give it to quinn, hes long term, has a little fire and is slightly quicker than capt blade over 30yds?
on a slightly different point how about capt blade for goalkeeper, hes more agile than simmo, has a similar perefferal vision and as last resort he can cut strikers heads off with his scimitars?
