He's a terrific player and a tough little bastard with it.

Regularly gets knocked from pillar to post but rarely stays down for long.

Tomorrow will be no different for him. It would be fantastic if he scored the winner to shut those gobby cunts up. Suspect he would love nothing more too, with Hamer assisting.

Has to be one of the best free transfers in recent years for us! If we do go up via the play offs, would be interesting to see how he gets on in the Premier league, as my work colleague (who is a Coventry fan) said he is great in the championship but lacks qualities to succeed in the Prem.
They said that about Fleck.
I’d ignore what they say.

I still wonder how we’d play if you swapped Hamer & O’Hare around. O’Hare gets more room on the flank and will cover the left back better, Hamer gets more sight of goal and can play in the pocket in the middle.

Feels so obvious I must be missing something.
You’re missing the fact that Hamer has no engine, which means there’d be no effective press, and Hamer’s work rate is approx 70% of O’Hare’s.
Hamer much more effective when he has space to run into whereas O’Hare can work in much tighter spaces with his back to goal and linking play with clever movement and give & go’s.

Takes some guts to receive the ball when you know you are going to get clattered bit like grealish Brave . Love his energy but quality

This 100% make my night

The heat map above (#75) confirms exactly your first paragraph.
Perhaps if we had a proper left-winger (and COH was unavailable), then we could play Hamer in the middle.
Totally agree UB, if our left side was more balanced like the right we would have another form of building attacks atm we become so predictable building attacks with seriki/ brooks combination so when the right becomes blocked we end up aimlessly passing the ball around because there's no other outlet at times.
