I have never felt so worried about a game than the upcoming Liverpool match, it fuckin terrifies me, a 0-5 result now seems like a fantastic result for us, it could easily be the biggest hiding in premier league history.
If you are continually banging you're head against a brick wall you don't worry about whether the next time you bang it it might hurt

I think we all a little guilty sometime of getting caught up in the emotion of a single bad performance but this is different, its season long.

Yes, we need to finance a business, make it successful, and make money for the long term. With this in mind, we should have kept hold of Berge and Ndyae and let them go for nothing as they offered us the best option of staying up so late in pre-season. Instead, we made the mistake that getting money now and selling them was more important than letting the go on free's. NO, that is wrong. If they had stayed for the last contract year and we stay up in the Prem, we all win. I've never been a believer in selling a player in last year of contract unless there are replacements. We sold without replacements.

that was a disaster from 11.45am onwards. because of the forecasted snow & thought the official coach was safest option. but i forgot the official coach has that weird thing where it has to stop in a random place. & not go straight through. so because had to stay in hebden bridge from 11.45 - 1.30, which from what i saw was a poncy overpriced village. we caught heavy traffic & didnt pull up to the ground til 2.45 & had 10 mins to get into the ground. then the carnage of 1 male search person for 2000 people & by the point we had got in we were 1-0 down

what's the phrase its not personal its business. i will be grateful for his time here & there extenuating circumstances. but we just cant continue. its a shambles & in hindsight weve never recovered from Newcastle. but above all else what happened to our defence. we saw this v stuttgart. when guirasse tore us apart

what changed in the course of 1 preseason. how did our defence go from solid & organised just look at us at easter to that shambles. how come all the might of treble winning man city scored once from open play at wembley & yet Bournemouth shouldve been 7. burnley is 5.

"sacked in the morning" i rather it was sacked in the evening. i dont think i can wait til the morning

The problem is, who will be the next manager and how quickly can he (assuming a he) and his team can change tactics, game plans, and improve confidence.

I don't believe Wilder or Warnock are the right managers / coaches, so who's there who can have an immediate impact?

Liverpool will probably rest most their players having seen that
Yep and still make 5-0, which will make it even more embarrassing.

I think just write off this season. It's almost certainly going to be the worst premiership side ever.

I wonder whether getting in a manager now to 'save us' isn't the right decision. Start work on building for next season might be a better option. A bit like Leicester last season, they are heading straight back and look much stronger (though that's only from looking at the table)

Does anyone get above a three in the player ratings today?!

What a shite way to ruin a few pleasant pints in Hebden Bridge.

On the way home. I don't think our away support quite knew who to blame at the end but losing this game 5-0 is unacceptable and what losing a goal after 15 seconds means is that we weren't ready at the start of the game and that, while the state of our club is not entirely the manager's fault, does rest with Hecky.

To those posters whining about us booing Sander, we had a shit day out today - allow us a bit of fun.

Another fucking shit show Hecky has to get the sack wait a min he won't simply because the Poundland prince has got nowt to pay his contract up same for the rest of the backroom staff. that prince has made it known he won't be visible again at Bramall Lane leaving Hecky to get all the flak, Liverpool is next up at Bramall Lane, better phone someone at Headingley for a scoreboard because we will get beat by a cricket score. the sooner the prince fucks off the better.

Stuart Gray, the commentator on Talksport2 ,

said "things are very concerning for Sheffield United, even when they had 11 men I couldn't see what they were trying to do and I don't see how they can pick up many points this season, he said "many of the Sheff Utd players lack pride and are making it too easy for Burnley"

Basically he was saying, even this early in the season, we are down.

Isn't that the one time manager of the pigs about 10 years ago?
