Brighton is a bit of a grudge match for Norwood given his treatment there. A good.chance he will pick up a yellow card.,.especially if he scores!

Interesting that he should distance himself from DB since I know from an extremely good source that he was the very man who got on the phone to Kev when CW was about to sign for Charlton and told him to " Stop fackin' abaht and go and get 'im fackin' signed for us ".

In passing , and much as I appreciate the undoubted wisdom and perceptiveness of many of your posts ,perhaps the time has come to stop teasing fellow Blades in respect of any previous allegiances they may have held .

Regardless of the Brighton game, I always saw the Norwich game as 'must win' (or at least 'mustn't lose'). A loss there would have been 2 straight losses, three points for a 'relegation rival' and a whole new complexion to our season.

Forgetting the giddiness of our current position, almost without exception, the top 10/11 finishers in the Premier League can be predicted. Otherwise-rubbish teams like Everton, West Ham etc. will change managers and/or buy their way out of trouble. The exceptions are teams like Leicester and Wolves - who have massive financial backing – or Burnley, Bournemouth etc. who burn brightly before they fade.

This means that teams like United will usually be ‘looking over our shoulder’ and where a few bad results can plunge us into the ‘relegation scrap’ region of the PL. Let's just enjoy the ride, it's fantastic!

Wow ,weve got Curtis Woodhouse saying hes Utd 2nd best ever player ,Darren Bent and Kamara saying hes the reason behind our success ,loops of his passes on social media ,and weve had back to back victories. Hope he has a better January eh ?
3 years ago we had Dean Hammond ,Florent Cuvulier ,Martyn Woolford ,Samir Carruthers and Jay Oshea ,that's what you call a bad December.

Wilder had that choice to make at Chelsea but went with the more expansive Freeman. I'd be amazed if Osborn starts...but equally I'd not rule it out.
 
Being an away game I expect Besic to start. Norwood may well take on the Fleck role and Besic takes on his role as the deeper midfielder.
 
If Brighton play against us like they've played 1st half tonight it'll be a difficult game. They've just given Palace a footballing lesson without managing to score.

Let’s be honest though, we won’t sit off them like Palace have done, Palace look shocking and showed no urgency whatsoever in that first half, how they’re 10th I’ll never know.

As a matter of interest (I did not hear the interview) was Wilder getting at Bassett, or journalists for stereotyping? I would be surprised if he did not appreciate the skills of Hodges and Agana, for example, or for that matter, Deane. I am sure Deano was always happy for opponents to think that he was just a big clumsy attacker, only dangerous in the air.

Agreed. I actually think they play a bit like us, confident football out from the back into midfielders feet. Bit surprised by Dunk and Burn. I thought they were just out and out defenders.
