And you started off so well. First two paragraphs perfectly fine.
Then the latter two...usual bollox.
Tedious.
George Baldock is just as much a revelation as Lunny. Both have taken to the Prem like ducks to water. We are indeed a privelege to watch.
I don’t know if you heard Tufty’s RS interview after the Villa match. He was clearly irked at constant references to our organisation, togetherness and commitment as though that was all we had. He emphasised our talent, our ability to play the game properly. “We don’t just bang it down the channels for Brian Deane to chase...”
Yet again he promulgates proper football and the right way. This time, however, he distanced himself from Bassett.
Hoofers, Tufty is not your man. He never has been. He has now put it beyond all doubt. You have nowhere left to hide. It’s off to Concord Park on a Sunday morning for you lot I’m afraid. Our club is firmly aligned with the beautiful game. There’s nothing for you here. Pele be praised.
Hoofer.
Wow ,weve got Curtis Woodhouse saying hes Utd 2nd best ever player ,Darren Bent and Kamara saying hes the reason behind our success ,loops of his passes on social media ,and weve had back to back victories. Hope he has a better January eh ?As above, Norwood is available. However, I would have been tempted to give him a rest at some point soon anyway. Think he's having quite a bad December.
Regardless of the Brighton game, I always saw the Norwich game as 'must win' (or at least 'mustn't lose'). A loss there would have been 2 straight losses, three points for a 'relegation rival' and a whole new complexion to our season.
Forgetting the giddiness of our current position, almost without exception, the top 10/11 finishers in the Premier League can be predicted. Otherwise-rubbish teams like Everton, West Ham etc. will change managers and/or buy their way out of trouble. The exceptions are teams like Leicester and Wolves - who have massive financial backing – or Burnley, Bournemouth etc. who burn brightly before they fade.
This means that teams like United will usually be ‘looking over our shoulder’ and where a few bad results can plunge us into the ‘relegation scrap’ region of the PL. Let's just enjoy the ride, it's fantastic!

Hoofers on the run...again.
Bladey Inferiority Complex at its spineless best.

Pinchy can have another wank;- once again he wins the Internet Arguing Trophy and is definitely the bestest arguer in his own bedroom.

Tufty? He must be if he distances himself from your hero’s hoof. Just pretend he never said it. It’s the Bassett Boys’ Way.

It obviously mattered to the manager or he wouldn’t have said it. Sorry Bassett Boys.

There there sausage. Time to go to beddie bies.
Do you agree with our manager? I do. Fuck Bassett and his ale house crap.
Finger to lips. Shuussshhhh.
Just to leave your virtual nursery for the moment, do you have a view on the manager’s comments?
Yes I do thank you. However, I dont feel the need to share them with the village idiot.
It's just jesting mateStrange little man.
That’s no problem. Bassett isn’t online. Wilder out, eh? Mustn’t acknowledge the grotesque truth about Dinosaur Dave. We ❤ Hoof and vote for Brexit on here. No coincidence there. Two sides of the same nasty coin.
Wilder had that choice to make at Chelsea but went with the more expansive Freeman. I'd be amazed if Osborn starts...but equally I'd not rule it out.For a home game, Freeman. Got a feeling an away game it might be the more defensive Osborn. Solid 3
Let’s be honest though, we won’t sit off them like Palace have done, Palace look shocking and showed no urgency whatsoever in that first half, how they’re 10th I’ll never know.If Brighton play against us like they've played 1st half tonight it'll be a difficult game. They've just given Palace a footballing lesson without managing to score.
As a matter of interest (I did not hear the interview) was Wilder getting at Bassett, or journalists for stereotyping? I would be surprised if he did not appreciate the skills of Hodges and Agana, for example, or for that matter, Deane. I am sure Deano was always happy for opponents to think that he was just a big clumsy attacker, only dangerous in the air.George Baldock is just as much a revelation as Lunny. Agreed. I actually think they play a bit like us, confident football out from the back into midfielders feet. Bit surprised by Dunk and Burn. I thought they were just out and out defenders.Let’s be honest though, we won’t sit off them like Palace have done, Palace look shocking and showed no urgency whatsoever in that first half, how they’re 10th I’ll never know.
Who is this Burn you speak of?Agreed. I actually think they play a bit like us, confident football out from the back into midfielders feet. Bit surprised by Dunk and Burn. I thought they were just out and out defenders.
..tbf, not hard against that Palace defence, mateMaupay has an uncanny Lineker-like ability to find space in the box. I’m seeing it too often to be a fluke.
