Game changing investment is spending that kind of money on a good striker. I'm not convinced that 1.5m (If that's what the fee is) is best put to good use on a right back.

I heard someone say on radio Sheffield this evening that we shouldn't but Brayford, however should look for a 25-30 goal a season guy. As well as not being able to think of anyone available, I said to myself... hang on, as things stand we won't create 25-30 chances before the end of the season.

Not in the slightest bit excited by these rumours myself why would we bid more than £1.5m for a full back when other areas in the team need strengthening much more urgently ? If we have made such a bid then surely we must have similar sized bids in for a striker and maybe a midfielder ......................... mind you a Brayford / Alf double swoop would have me admitting there was indeed GCI, I might even go as far as saying McCabe is alright. The other side of me says the board is taking the fans as c***s again and we will soon be hearing "we tried for A,B and C but ..............................
