It’s not necessarily the Bosman rule that I’d be interested in getting rid of, but the rule that was linked to the Bosman rule at the time, the no limit on foreigners. No doubt the Premier League teams would oppose a limit on foreigners being imposed as it would harm their international marketability but a limit would be good for the English game overall. I wonder if there is scope for bringing in a limit in the divisions below the Prem.
