Time to look towards 26/27

You really do lack the intelligence to think beyond previous managers don’t you? Embarrassing.
Errr hang on - Wilder doesn’t have his enforced sabbatical and we are minimum be in the play offs. The bloke has done fantastic you need to be realistic we are SUFC not MUFC.

No need for that.

But since you started the nonsense, I thought I’d just jump in with some more.

You’re not suggesting anything intelligent and sensible you’re just wanting rid of a decent manager with a good record to bring in an unknown which you’ve not suggested in your op but just to, you know, rebuild yet again when we’ve lost the parachute money and the manager we have has been allowed to start bringing his players in already…

Brilliant.

I’d say an ok job, a 6/10.

He’ll be here next season but I don’t see any improvement coming, especially with a worse squad.
If we finish in this position at the end of the season, I'd agree with a 6/10. Done a decent job, shouldn't be sacked.

You clearly think anyone who doesn’t think Wilder is the greatest manager ever is talking nonsense. So I’ll just leave you to live in your own little delusional world of mediocrity and not waste my time replying to you anymore.

It's time to start preparing for next season. Get rid of Wilder and bring in the next manager asap so they can have a good look at the players we currently have before deciding what they need in the summer.
Getting rid of Wilder is the last thing we need to do.. we need stability the next couple of years as we re-structure without parachute payments.. we would be in danger of relegation next season

No.

I’m asking you to suggest some amazing alternative.

Wilder is obviously the benchmark and he’s worked absolute wonders to get something out of this season. I didn’t actually want him back.

But you’ve put it out there that you want the manager sacked. So what’s your plan. What’s your better suggestion. Where do we go from here…

Sorry if that seems like I’m in my deluded little world, but have a crack at making some intelligent suggestion which takes us beyond the medicrity of my world.

Dazzle me…. Let’s see what you’ve got

Let me guess… he drinks in the same pub as you and that’s why you think he’s the greatest manager ever?

Anyone who’s seen anything I’ve ever posted about Wilder knows that’s one of the most ridiculous statements you could make…

Fair, can’t say I’ve ever seen your posts before but then I don’t spend much time here

It’s got nothing to do with the fact he’s a blade or laughably drinks in the same pub as some. Not one forum member has said he’s the greatest manager ever either. Keep throwing the daft reasons in why we shouldn’t keep him then realise with no parachute payments next year and the club in need of stability he’s the best man for the job going into next season

Can’t recall you suggesting a suitable manager on this post - with all your obvious experience in managers, could you put 2/3 names on the table?

…..or are you just a gormless troll?

It was time to start preparing for next season when we brought Wilder in

We had the wrong ex hull manager, should have hired Rosenior when he was available

7.5/10 for me

Came in early enough to get us in the play offs but early results were disappointing

Been good since November though and the regular 3 goal hauls are quite a departure from what we've been used to. I said when he came in that making us better to watch would play a big role in determining fan approval and I feel we have very little ground for complaint on that front

We might not necessarily have a worse squad next season. We can also hit the ground running and be without the handicap. I'm confident we'll be competitive in the 5th-10th range, whether we're capable of more will depend on the strength of the relegateds

I don’t work in football recruitment so i sadly don’t have the time to throughly research other managers. But I have seen enough of our games and post match interviews this season to know Wilder isn’t the future.

Wasn’t aware I wasn’t allowed an opinion on Wilder unless I had a full list of prospective replacements prepared, my bad.

Oh. Who you suggesting then. Thought that’s what you were after.

Shall we get a young Spanish manager in that plays a different way with little to no experience of championship football?

Go on, who’s the mouth watering new manager to change things up
We would certainly have been able to attract Kim Hellberg in the summer. And there are plenty of others like him. After Hecky I’m pretty sure we could have got Rob Edwards, who is doing a remarkable job at Wolves. Andoni Iraola was fairly unknown before he arrived at Bournemouth.

Thought so, you really haven’t got a clue, have you? Does JT stand for just trolling?

Serious question- how old are you?
