Just looked at Bolton's last 4 league matches and realised we are 2 points better off than when we started our "shocking" run.

Looking very rosy.

Yeah so its good to keep that buffer or even better, extend it.

However, without being complacent, we have the points and they don't, they have a game to play, with February also likely to see games called off for weather or cup games, its not the most consistent month of the season, so its better to have those points in the bag already.

I'd say that we're ahead of the plan at the moment.

Yep Bolton demise . Still in the running , as are Fleetwood who won at the Lane . Only us daft fucker fans think like this .

Would Wilder and Knill , would they fuck . Happy Days but as another poster said Highfield Blade , one game at a time .

We have the power to fuck this up .
 
If we win the next 3 games we will be at least 5 pts above Scunny and 12 pts above Bolton which would be a nice cushion

Hate them all you like but I for one enjoy them much more than the ones we've had for the last few years talking about how we can get into the playoffs!
 



If the fixture list i am looking at is correct they don't 'catch up' games in hand until April. Points on the board will build pressure every week. What a great position to be in.
 
We are only just on 2 points a game, which is regarded as the safe level for automatics.

We have 16 games left - but only 7 at home.

Our next 4 games are 2 tricky away, followed by Scunny and Bolton at home.

I will not begin to feel comfortable unless we have got at least 8 more points By 5pm on Feb 25th.

Even then I will not dare to dream unless we have won all 4 games and have 72 from 34.

Yes well.. it's between us and Scunthorpe for the title.

That's what I think.

Bolton will miss out on promotion and I'd be more inclined to think Walsall, Charlton or Peterborough will be 3rd.

I personally dont think they will close the gap, according to their own fans they are not making the chances. I see scunny lasting the pace, I can see Charlton and Fleetwood to chase us and scunny.

Their next four games, Walsall, Rochdale, Bradford and then us. They could be some way behind us when we meet.
 
Also in December, according to their own chairman, they are or were losing £800k a month. That is a huge amount of money for a league 1 club to be hemorrhaging.
 
Well reading the Bolton & Scunthorpe forums we should be cracking the Champagne open now.
Bolton fans think they are destined for the play offs at best with a few thinking they won't even make that, apparently they only managed one shot on target yesterday.
Scunthorpe fans don't think they have been playing well for a while now, but that they have been lucky.
 



I actually only think one of us three will get promoted. Someone will break into the automatic spots maybe even win the title.
