8m is too much......but I am happy with him coming in, a steady Championship CB at a good age who can be with us 4-5 years.

The club are paying the price for a poor approach to the transfer window, and now they are having to overpay for a decent Championship players.

They also probably need to spend some cash to build momentum to bring in some of the players that they want to bring in (Young-Woo, Nils, Tim) who will be wanting to compete at the top end of the Championship. They've backed themselves into a corner, and thats costing them millions of dollars. Hopefully this will be a lesson learned.

Really hope we can get Nils Zatterstrom who I think will be better in the long term.

Well if you're using it as a barometer, then Coventry are paying £20m for Hughes as the press reported Hull wanted more than they got for Greaves.
