We had this. It was called the Pontins Central Reserve League. It was free to watch for season ticket holders and teams were free to field whichever team they wanted.
Yep i agree, give us a proper reserve league any time

There's something about the use of the word "pal" directed at a stranger which makes people sound like a lunatic Glaswegian wielding a flick-knife.
sorry pal. i always use it as a term of endearment..... honest John

About 1350 to be in attendance tomorrow if these percentages are anything to go by.

We'd definitely be doing our bit to send out the correct message in the correct way.

I did have a strong view agaisnt this, however im starting to wonder if thats a purely selfish reason.

Yes for sheffield united its a slap in the face, to us it seems disrespect. Were obviously not as a club where we want to be and one of the odd ones out, club size wise in this division.

However for other teams firstly the financial benefits might be good for them, also it gives them a chance to see alot of potential loan signings they could make from higher placed teams, some teams depend on those sort of signings.

He's right though when he says "if you [go to the game] you are supporting the EFL's aim of getting B teams into the lower divisions".

Which is the main reason i'm not going. The other one is the outside chance of Vardy the pig pleasuring himself at the expense of our fragile defence.

Alternatively, Hallam FC are at home to Rossington Main tonight, £5 entry and £2.50 concessions.

Would be a nice touch for all those who refuse to recognise this ridiculous "trophy" to support grass roots non-league instead.

Foxy and I have the opportunity of the sponsor tickets for this match FOC.

Do we go and do the commentary so other people don't have to?

Question is do you agree with how the cup has gone if yes then go and enjoy if no then don't if you are going just for a free ticket i seriously wonder if you are really fit and proper to be representing SUFC fans through this forum.

Thats a really good idea, at least those who went to see Hallam would get to see a game with some point, played by players who gave a shit. Good income for the club too.

Great suggestion Tyler Durden and I shall be at Sandygate tonight.

For anyone unfamiliar with Hallam FC, they are a fantastic club ran by genuinely lovely people.

If you want to make a positive protest, get yourselves down to see Hallam because every bit of support they receive makes a huge difference.... the half time Steak & Relish pasty is worth the trip alone!
