Answer the question on your £41m will you ... ?
Aaaand ... he's gone. Shame.

We are talking mega bucks investment not just running costs aid . Prince probably has less money than McCabe. All money is good but if any one thought we'd be buying 20 m pound players with the 46th in line for the Saudi throne it was wishful thinking. We tried to spend about another 4 or 5 m on players but didn't get them over the line .probably will in Jan but if we do go up we still will need mega investmentHang on. He has brought investors in. What about HRH?

I don't think there's much call for reality round here!We are talking mega bucks investment not just running costs aid . Prince probably has less money than McCabe. McCabe being owner has been an absolute disaster, let's not kid ourselves now were back to roughly where we should be... he has been responsible for the worst period in the club's history, the minimum we should be looking at for a club our size is top half of the championship, we've been so bad for so long as a result of his ownership that people have forgotten this.
No ones forgotten it. How could they? It crops up on here everyday even if you haven't lived through it.
Hang on. So we haven't spent six seasons in Div One?
This just gets better and better.

Don't see the need to thank him for buying a toy and getting bored of it
No we've gone from "investment" to"investment in playing staff" because someone's too afraid to put their internet bollocks above the parapet in the likelihood that it will be held up as evidence against some future, but startlingly similar rant.
It was ever thus.
Oh. So you mean this:
OP: Let's all start whacking dicks about McCabe!
Me: Erm, that's a bit odd. And besides, he's fucked things up for a long time
You: £41m
Me: Show me where it is spent
You: 'obsessive nutjob'/'avoid bus'
Everyone: Oh dear
pommpey
Investment under McCabe has probably been less than pretty much any other club our size over the last 18 years.
We've rarely spent big on players during that time and when we spent biggish it was courtesy of appointing Robson and some daft transfers.
It's generally been on the cheap as we've dawdled along - we could have gone bust 10 years ago and we might have been better off with new owners.
McCabe's like an old runaround. Fairly reliable but unlikely to get you very far.
Clearly I said we hadn't. Was there something in my post that suggested we'd had six years of successs?
No ones forgotten it. How could they? It crops up on here everyday even if you haven't lived through it.
Look at those accounts ...
"there's no place like a home game"
You've gone from investment to investment in playing staff to asking where it's been spent now. Do you think people don't notice what you do?
Really poor effort but learning from Miss Haversham isn't the wisest thing for you to do.
BINGO! I have a full house! I was waiting for this. Now, clever lad ... as you're dead cleverer than me, trot along to those accounts, and under the margin which says £41m, go fetch us all some or other figures on what has been spent on either playing staff, servicing debt, both, paying off old managers, upgrading the coffee maker, painting the bogs or just 'frittered away as losses'. You know about this shit. Or you seem to, anyway. I'm more interested in 'what has been spent on playing staff' but if you can't do that, get us the remainder and we'll just subtract it from £41m, see?
Oh! Have we started a new game of Pommpey Bingo? Hang on. Let me just get me dabber. That's one off the top line.
And you have answered nada. Nothing. Nil. Don't you think people notice what you don't do?
Anyone? Me neither.

I said £41m has been invested. Twist things as much as you want. That's a true statement of fact. One you are incapable of disproving so you move the goalposts like a mardy child.
Unless of course you're saying it isn't and suggesting something isn't right with the figures McCabe signed off?
You're clearly excited but I can't see why. You can't even make a decision on whether you think the £41m is correct or where it's even come from, but want to know how a figure you don't believe has been spent. (Concentrate on this point for a sec).
More fool me for accepting your claim you understand accounts when you're too scared to even look at them.
You do know which company we've been talking about don't you? Only another poster made similar claims but it turned out he didn't know his arse from his elbow. He's currently floating around the forum like a camp Flying Dutchman, wailing nonsense and bitterness.
No - pay attention please. I did say NOTE: Pommpey is acknowledging that £41m has been spent. Just for the record.
So that's that sorted. Remember? You asked me to believe ... believe ... BELIEVE that the Murphy money wasn't spent on the Desso and the FA Cup money was? Well, that.
So, with that now fully understood ...
Ah, no y'see. I never claim to understand accounts. I understand complex warship High Voltage supply and distribution systems, much of how heavy and light engineering works as a principle and practice (and management therein) I understand how to programme synthesisers and DAW architecture and have been known to hold a note or two. Which is why I am relying on your expertise in this - your championing of the subject - to explain to us sat nicely where this £41m you claim has been spent. I'm particularly interested in player investment, but anything else is good. So ... when you're ready ...
You're not going to, are you? Why not?
It's just 'a figure', isn't it? Extracted from 'accounts' to silence the critics. Without any substance or explanation.
Oh. So the £41m hasn't been put into Sheffield United Football Club, huh? I'll just take a look at the top of this web page and yes ... this is all about the football. So it's the 'football' I am interested in where the money has been spent please.
*nods*
Off you go.

I claimed it has been invested - which it has - and not once as to where it has been spent. As of course you well know. Just like you know there is no detailed breakdown in the accounts because we've been here before. Share Caputal and Share Premium accounts - I'm sorry I know you've said this is beyond you but - are clear indicators of investment.
You may think you're a superior being because you think you're tying people up in knots but the reality is I've stuck to the one claim and you've hopped about as if you just come out of the shower on your first day on board.
It's not particularly edifying to watch a grown man stoop to such levels even if he needs validity when he's not having to abide daily by rules he has to stick too. Maybe that's the issue. The real worlds beyond you so you play games with others not so confined to assuage your rage and disappointment.
Institutionalised. There's a big word for you.
Pommpey.
I've read some of the stuff you have posted in the past, and I've rated you as being one of the better posters over quite a period of time, however of late, with your consistent diatribes against Kevin McCabe and the Desso pitch, to use a military analogy you'be began to remind me a little bit of King Jong-Un with your bellicose verbosity, and your arguments against both, and they have began to show a great many similarities with a man who has got the utmost belief in his hastily cobbled together nuclear weapons that he doesn't know that will work properly if used in anger, that will carried across the globe on inter-continental ballistic missiles that struggled to reach Japan.
No. I mentioned him being sacked. You countered that. We are still debating that.
Bit confused at why anyone would say Warnock was sacked. He clearly wasn't.
Here are his own words at a press conference after he resigned:
"Money has never entered into the conversation. Kevin and I sat down on Monday because I had come to the decision that it was time for me to leave Sheffield United".
There's no "debate" to be had. He resigned.
