Just thought it worth drawing attention to how Hogan's goal was celebrated by his teammates, especially Billy.
No one is unimportant in this squad.
Madine in particularly. He's attracted immense vitriol. A couple on this Blades supporting forum delight in denigrating everything about him.
21 points left. Every player counts.

Well said sir.

You're 100% correct, no matter what prejudice someone has towards a player, try and suspend it for these few, vitally important, remaining games.

And if the craving to criticise cannot be controlled, then try and make it constructive rather than have a mind-fuck that serves no one any good. Trying to help a player may make the difference between a tackle that prevents a goal bound effort or breaking up an attack that may have resulted in an attack that threatens our goal.

Just think, what's preferable? Allowing yourself the indulgence of being negative because....well, because that's what you always do, or for just this once try and show that you understand the reasons that underpin supporting our team. I know if I was wearing the red and white stripes how much it would mean to hear that someone is giving me their support.

I haven’t see too much vitriol of late, other from the usual suspects that frankly aren’t likely to come round.

What I have seen is some posters quite fairly call out a very avoidable sending off that’s left us short for 3 games at a crucial stage of the season. It’s possible to lament that while still supporting his presence in the squad. I was extremely annoyed with him for that red card, and would have put Saturday’s game as one he’d clearly have been important to have involved.

I never understand posts like this.

As if teammates celebrating a goal together is something unique to Sheffield United Football Club.

Whereas you and I don't coco delight in negativity..
Great connectivity pal.

I presume you mean me?
I'm a positive clapper on most things SUFC, I just don't want violent scumbags at my club. I didn't want King and I don't want Madine.

At games I try to be positive, singing and clapping to encourage the lads. Don't lecture me with your own definition of negativity.

You are what you are.

Don't take it out on me because you can't get out of John Snows back pocket

Some chuff who has read a couple of my posts about twat-Madine and thinks he knows all about me? As he is incapable of even getting my username right, I won't be losing any sleep over him.

Shortage of apostrophes again in Thornton Towers?

Very sandy in coco pops crack this morning?

Not much of a Blade when you abuse one of our players. It also means you must question Wilders morality. Big call.
