Can you believe that we once had 40 seasons in a row in the top div from 1894 up to 1934.
Also the longest we spent outside the top div was 12 seasons.
Our illustrious neighbours had 16 years in a row in the top div and are currently in their 25th season in a row out of the top flight.
Wed pip us on total seasons in top flight. 66 seasons to our 62.
Staying in the prem for a prolonged time once there seems nigh impossible and only serves it's use to us as a cash magnet to keep us in the black, although Fulham, Brighton and even Bournemouth seem to be having good runs.
Couldn't see us doing more than a couple in a row and be forever the yo-yo club.
